It’s sad to say goodbye to MatPat, I used to binge his FNAF game theory’s while on the bus to school, he was one of the first TH-camrs I watched when I made an account, me and I’m pretty sure almost everyone in the this comment section love his videos. :)
I like how Matt sees himself. He acknowledges the fact that he is an icon rather than pretending he is just some dude, but he doesn't flaunt it like an asshole

I saw the video the moment that came out, and cried, then, I watched this vod, and cried, then I watched various other reactions to it, and cried some more. Then I realized that it was 2am and I needed to go to school in 4 hours, so naturally, I watched some old gtives, and fell asleep.
I'm gonna miss him, I never watched his videos but I'm subscribed to him, because every dinner, my brother listens to MatPat. And him quitting, is just sad. MatPat is an awesome theorist, we'll all miss him. And he'll miss us.
Okay, this might sound crazy but MatPat is the reason I found the DSMP, no joke. It's pretty bizzare if you think about it but I watched some DreamTeam mod videos and stuff and kinda knew there was a server but didn't pay any attention to it. When MatPat did the theory on the dsmp I realised it was a lot more interesting than just a survival server and after that it's all history. I've been in the fandom since that video and it has changed my life, I've made so many friends, discovered a lot about myself in these past years and it would've never happened the way it did if it wasn't for a game theory video, which is INSANE! I'm gonna miss him so much, he's a great guy and I wish the best for him.
