    I’m from HP , 3 generations has been so many different nationalities. HP and surrounding suburbs are all similar and a tad harder then your average suburb . Good thing about melb tho is 10 nationalities could be rocking the mullet and not notice because we are so well tolerant to other cultures .
    Might not be on the radio but the songs play in cars, houses , gyms ect and is spreading fast 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 keep up the good work boys

    Brah it's crazy that they get played overseas but here in AUS islander rappers rarely get radio plays.

    • @eks67
      @eks67 5 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      It's because there's more islanders here plus rap music is more popular here than in aus. Always has been. NZ rap goes back to the 80s with upper hutt posse n shit.

    • @coachanonymous9073
      @coachanonymous9073 5 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      D. I would disagree. Hip hop and RnB is the biggest genre of music in Australia but Australian mainstream radio are trying to push us away from listening to it unless it’s a pop song. It’s stupid, I know. We don’t even have a RnB radio station here! It doesn’t make sense when it’s almost 2020 and still no RnB radio. Australia has an agenda against Hip hop but everyone loves it. They sell the most tickets at concerts too

    • @eks67
      @eks67 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@coachanonymous9073 Thats sad bro. There should've been a Hip Hop RnB station ages ago. Sounds like there is an agenda against Hip Hop in Aus especially with the cancelation of the Onefour tour.

      @@coachanonymous9073 Hilltophoods, 360, KERSER, Senator Briggs and Sampa the great all got played on the radio when they had hits. But Hp Boys arguably who's had a bigger hit than all of them got barely any play on radio.

    • @coachanonymous9073
      @coachanonymous9073 5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Eetswah yeah, never understood why OneFour and HP Boyz have never had a single play on mainstream radio even though they are the most viral Aussie artists right now. Yet, they play Hilltop Hoods, 360 etc. which nobody listens to by the way, facts! Nobody rides around the streets listening to their shit

    Loved this interview and they are spot on with Homelessness regarding Polynesians in Melbourne I’ve seen a homeless Polynesian I’m sure they are out there but i just never seen them and i think it’s because of that strong Polynesian culture tradition where no one gets left behind. And that so call “wog” accent is predominantly from the western suburbs of Sydney from places like Belmore, Bankstown, punchbowl is also predominantly Lebanese and secondly Samoans.

      No they dont and Samoans dont rock mullets either. Only Hp boys do. All the islander boys are still hitting the slick fades.

    Can someone please tell me where the palagi's live in Hampton Park please? I see people from Tangaroa and Mangere college 1999 with families here😂 Go Hampton Park shopping centre, you think your in South Mall or Clendon😂 We dont have food like Otara Rewa and Mangere though. That's why when we come home that once in a blue moon we make sure we over eat till we come back. Proud of H.P boyz though. You can only get better. All the best uso's
