hoping some of you guys know or not, but how often do they rebuild motors? also, whats the restrictions on the motor? only stock block required, or all oem spec parts? or can they used different cams and rods and such?
Nasko T i find that pretty surprising! i know top fuel dragsters' motors get rebuilt after every run. i know that is a much more different situation, but it seems like these motors go through tons of strain quickly, so i thought it would be after every event or something, thanks
3 years later , but still - honda engines are quite durable in this competition because they are mostly stock power to maybe maximum 260hp in group a ( i think this one is group N on video so its almost close to stock.) Only things that can break on most occasions are suspension or transmission components. Mostly the axle and the cv joints.
Remap n as this is where it’s pulling most efficiently. Maybe it’s going at 7-8rpm for the hill climb racing? As for a street or track k20a2 it wouldn’t go at 7-8rpm

This wasn't the original gearbox, the ratios are changed.
