I have four of these Monster Solara speakers and love them! We have a large outdoor pool area where we use these in the summer time for music. Love the lights and the app (while not perfect) does work and does what’s needed.
Looking to also connect to outdoor television. Is yours connected to a tv? If yes, how’s the performance?
nothing like going camping for the weekend and hearing ppl a mile away blasting their music
I’m in the market for something like this, doesn’t seem like there’s been too much progress in the last few years!
You think this speaker is still relevant?
I’m looking for something that I can get at least 2 speakers but ideally 3 or 4 like this playing the same music in a backyard without having to run cables and wire.
I grabbed some of the AR Sedona lantern speakers from Costco (only 2 can link) and unfortunately the sound on them is terrible so going to return and still looking. Came across this and very intrigued but wondering if anything new in the last few years.
i can actually lower the volume with my phone and even change the song either from the speaker or my phone....it work great for me. :)
edit: i forgot to mention, sometime i don't need to charge the speaker because i just leave it under the sun to charge it up a bit and still not need to worry about dying. :D
what out there today similar to this. Cant find one for sale anywhere and want it in my pool area

All these type of speakers just seem to be a good mono speaker, not true stereo. the sound no matter how it projects it is coming from one point, not separated for true stereo separation.
Some one that is into tech should always believe in physical audio jacks.
Looks a bit awkward in my opinion, kind of like a piece of furniture or something. But considering the versatility of the power source, the size and shape is justifiable. And if it sounds sweet, all the more better.

Guys please do a good review of Bluedio UFO headphones. They are beats killers. It an upcoming company. These UFO headphones are the best.
Just about any decent headphone is a beats killer, not that hard to do.
srs xp700 is 38 pounds so 9 lbs isnt bad
