@@suNRze thank you. I'm getting better daily. I've done remarkably well since it's only been just over a month since the stroke. I graduated out of speech therapy yesterday. Have occupational and physical therapy left. Crochet is helping with my recovery. I want to try some of her tutorials soon. I ordered a stitch counter to help me keep track.

Wow, she does have a fantastic site! These yarns are terrific--I agree, the prices are very, very good--better than I can get in the US from the big box stores, even on sale! And can't beat that free shipping over $70---I don't see how she can be that reasonable with her prices, but I'm thankful! I plan on saving up so I can get some of these luscious yarns. I have never really worked with wool. I make a lot of baby blankets and hats and scarves and lapghans to give away, so I tend to use lots of acrylics. But I'd like to branch out, and try yarns I haven't worked with before. You did a super job of 'translating' the labels for us. Thank you again, Crystal, for an interesting and fun yarn unboxing!

Hey, Crystal! I never have a problem hearing you, in fact, I have to turn you down most of the time. I used Alize Cotton Gold to make an amigurumi cat last year for my granddaughter. It is a beautiful yarn and really easy to work with. I liked it so much I bought more to make myself a summer top. Thanks for the shout out to this shop, she has some great prices and even the shipping is reasonable. Have a good one--

I learned to crochet with a 4.5 mm hook 30 years ago, it’s still my favorite hook (I still have it lol 😂) but I also use a 5.0mm
the largest hook I’ve ever used was a 10.0mm any higher than that my hand hurts.

Thank you so much Crystal. I am in Canada and I only have a Walmart for a yarn supplier near me. It is never well stocked and such a mess. I love your unboxings to see different yarns from other companies and think it is fantastic where you look and find. I am on disability and can't travel too far from home often. The nearest Micheal's is 2 hours from home and it is hard to get there for me. I appreciate all your videos including the shopping ones, the unboxings and tutorials. You teach so much. Many thanks

Nettle is a plant. It’ll stick you holly or cactus. Healthy tea, but tastes horrid. It would be very challenging to make yarn from it.
I’ve watched ppl make linen from flax, with hand tools. Major process, planting, tending the field, soaking the flax, drying it, separating it, combing it, etc. So it’ll be worth it’s weight in gold for the effort alone.

Nettle is a plant fiber; similar to linen or hemp. (I was curious so googled it.)
I have not heard anything different about your videos. Some I don’t grasp but that’s only because I can’t listen as fast. Lol

That looks like an incredible yarn stash with really reasonable pricing. I’m going to look at her shop definitely because in the UK we have no problem or import hikes so definitely worth a look for me.
By the way Crystal, I’ve no idea who or why people are having trouble hearing you but I don’t have a problem at all. Maybe it’s at their end but definitely not your end and others are saying they don’t have problems either so you’ve to need to worry.

This Etsy seller has fascinated me since you first inboxed from her and I was telling a friend of mine about this video and promised to go get the link for her but I just had to watch you unbox this again!! The natural plant fiber yarn (cotton, hemp and nettle) would be good to use for pot holders and wash cloths. You could put 2 strands together to make a thicker yarn.

Many of the yarns you have shown us are a much higher end, high quality yarn! I think the price is due to the rate of exchange. That is not usual since most will charge what the local market will bare. Very cool!!! Nettle is also a natural fiber and is awesome! Does the shop have any milk yarn??? BTW- sock yarn like Patons for the small lightweight skeins are appx $10-$12!! Great deal!!!!!!!

I crochet two or three strands of thin yarn together with my 5.5 mm and it has a really pretty effect of different colors all crocheted together.
Like you, I much prefer the bulky yarns. The K is my favorite hook but I will use something a bit smaller for Mandala. I've watched most of your unboxings and have never had any trouble hearing you.

I love your unboxings as I have said many times before. Its great to learn about yarns. No we dont wish you would be done already. We dont want you to hurry up. This is the way that we are able to spend time with you so we enjoy it. Plus....dont rush through when you buy more than one color of the same thing. I personally love to see all the colors. Its the only way we can see it and compare it to pictures online. You are the best Crystal so dont you change a thing! Much love to you!!!

Crystal...I have bad arthritis and I wrap a tiny bit of coban around my crochet hooks and I can hold on to them. I can crochet with smaller hooks. I use it on all of my hooks.

I’ve been buying Alize yarns by the suitcase ( yes, suitcase!) when we go to our Turkish home. It’s beautiful yarn and Turkish yarn. Nako is also an old well established Turkish brand - beautiful too.😍
