AEA Challenger Pro .25 - Sighting In 50 Yards

- This was the maiden voyage for the Challenger Pro. It is about a 1/2 hour long of shooting different things at 50 yards as well as some serious paperwork. I tried several slug weights as well as pellets. Zan's Projectiles 41 grain HP with Dish Base was my choice by the end of the day. I measured the speed with them at 1009 fps when I got back home and wow....Powerful, accurate and affordable. Thank you for watching and if you like the content please subscribe.

I shoot .22cal JSB Knockout slugs and haven't had any issues with them so far. But your AEA is really accurate, which makes it a better combination with the .25cal slugs despite the high wind 👍🏼 I have the same issue with high wind in my area. Cheers and keep those good videos coming 🤙🏼

Very nice shooting I also have the pro in 25 cal it's been pretty accurate I just shoot slugs only 33 grain. So far hole on hole at 35 yards and under half inch at 50
Awesome! I was shocked that it shot so good. It definitely is a slug gun that can shoot moa.
AEA elevated the standard in PCPs.
I was truly surprised how nice it is especially for the price. I have others that cost 2 or 3 times as much and this one will shoot right beside them.
@@a.p.z. I got a AEA Challenger bullpup 22. My first PCP, agreed, powerful and accurate for a non regulated gun for the price. I only need 1 "MOS"...Minute of Squirrel...I'm happy.

3 in a row in the same hole! Then the slugs were ripping through your little blue guy making it appear you were missing it, even though you were slinging them threw it!!!!! GOOD SHOOTING! I have pro .30 cal an the only thing I don't like is it's a tank!
Lol....it is heavy. A good bench gun more then lugging it around on a hunt. I use the Huben K1 .25 for that.
I have the pro .25 cal and .30 cal both guns are very accurate

Third one from the bottom left side was sub moa 1 inch, looked to be smaller than a dime!!!!! The excellent shooting!!!!!!
This airgun has major potential from what I've been seeing. So far flawless operation and getting amazing accuracy. My groups are only as good as I am as well and I think the air gun does better then me. 😆

For the stock, I suggest an MDT Carbine Composite Stock. It's a little pricey, but it's got adjustable LOP, and an adjustable cheek piece, and no hair pulling!

I must say those groups are really not bad on a windy day. I'm getting more and more tempted, thinking about getting a challenger Pro in 30 caliber.
I almost bought the 30 and hear it's a fine shooter as well. Maybe next one!

The 30cal is Lazer beam accurate those gun are amazingly accurate go for the 30 cal its amazing
They are super accurate especially for the cost.
Nice shooting, great groups at 50 yards but the distance do look a lot further, That would be even better if it was.

Great shooting. I have the AEA Challenger Pro in .22 and .25 cal. Looking for slugs for them (nothing too heavy, just want a little more energy and velocity). What size do you think might be good for them to start off with? I'm looking at NSA slugs. Any suggestions on brand/name?
I'm using Zans slugs. 32 grain for the .22 and 41 grain for the .25

By chance does anyone have problems filling the rifle. Mine leaks from the fill port every time I try. As soon as the line pressures it backs out just enough not to seal
I've had issues. It's not always friendly. I make sure it's lube good helps but I have had that problem.

Yea sir I have 2. Fx and a F1 master to compare. It's a must to figure things out for that accuracy and l9ng distance shooting. 💯
Zan just redesigned the 41's which mean the old ones are discontinued. Have you shot the redesigns yet?
I bought 5k rounds last time so no nothing new. Are we talking the .25
@@a.p.z. Yes the .25 cal. All their .25 weights are now redesigned. But seeing that you got 5,000 rounds of the olds, I guess it won't matter that they're discontinued, lol. You have enough to last a long time, lol.
@Jarrold Harrell I'll have to check his site out. I his newer .253 diameter, which actually measures .2535, and it's perfect for my Huben. I got 10k of those. The Huben really goes through the ammo. Thanks for the info
@@a.p.z. I was thinking of trying the huben Zans in the pro, lol. If you want to see the new design side by side pics I have I can send them to you. The new ones are longer, have a more cup base, and different finish on them. Totally different all around.

Hi.How many shots before you need to refill?
Really not exactly sure yet. Approximately 2 1/2 clips at that power. So about 25 maybe more but haven't counted exactly where I'm set.
you know I've got two aea 50 caliber Bullpup rifles and they are really well made they are really accurate but the only downfall that I can come up with my guns are a little heavy and the triggers are not that good I don't understand why they build such a nice looking gun and put such a crappy trigger on them somebody needs to teach them how to make a trigger and they would have a really great gun I don't understand it and they tell me it doesn't really matter what caliber gun you get the triggers are not that good and that's a shame
The pro's triggers are not bad and actually pretty crisp. They tend to get better after shooting it alot too. I wish they were an adjustable trigger but I'm pretty use to them now.
Well I've got two of the 50 cal Bullpup Challengers and I've got used to them too but the triggers are still crappy get used to it or not you think for a rifle that's made as well as they are they should have a decent trigger and they don't
@@donwilson350 I agree but then I look at the money they charge. Not bad and actually very good price point. I don't know of any others I can pull out of the box for $800 and shoot the groups I do at all distances. This in itself raises the bar. 8 just hope they keep moving forward with their products. I've spent hundreds on ar triggers in the old days but would really like to see a trick trigger become available for these.

Aea sucks when it comes to servicing the gun, you will never hear back from bintac or any of his backyard garage dealers...horrible company!
Actually he has been good getting back to me. I have 3 pro's and 1 had a barrel issue so he's replacing and sending me another airgun before he even gets mine back. I don't know any other company that would do that. I don't know Bin other then me buying airguns and he's treated me very good so far and expect he will continue. I hope your airgun issues get worked out with Bin.
