i bought the light novel thinking it was a manga but i read it anyways despite not liking light novels and i really love it, hopefully they release the rest of the LN's english translated otherwise ill have to learn japanese
I was in high school when this got released, I think I've always heard this being played among the internet but never got into discovering the music video itself. It's unfortunate that I only discovered the music video now since I resonate so much with it. I felt like so much of my life resonates what is just like what is brought out as a theme of the stereotypical lonely girl that is in anime music videos, haha. If you're craving more, try other Nisioisin Series. Worked for me somewhat when I finished Monogatari. I would recommend Katanagatari & Bishounen Tanteidan (and ofc Monogatari)

Adam Kithman it’s cause the kubikiri cycle series was pretty spread out in release on the anime streaming sites AND this song was licensed for the first year it came out so TH-cam took it down whenever someone who wasn’t explicitly allowed by the producers tried to upload it. The shifting watercolor effect is neat and really effective in some cuts of this MV, but it’s overused to the point of being a distraction and detracting from the impact that it might have had in specific scenes.
