I think it's interesting how God uses the unfaithfulness of Hosea's wife to represent the unfaithfulness of His people & how Hosea overlooking his wife's misconduct & still offering her his love & devotion is a wonderful representation of how God can overlook our disobedience as well when we choose to repent & return to living a life devoted to Him. So you want people to relax but you read a passage in the Bible that talks about God's wrath? You may want to stick to things that uplift people, not scare them. Just saying.
I find stories of God’s wrath to be very relaxing. Romans 1:18 - “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth.”
