"Alone" I think is a prime example of Sistar being able to portray sexy in a way that looks classy and expensive, the way to exude sexy without being trashy and uncomfortable. That leg drag is ICONIC. And the rapper you called pretty in "Alone" is Bora. The one you thought was her in "I Like that" is Soyou, the lead vocalist.
The girl with the tattoo in Alone is Bora. She's good friends with some of SNSD's members, but especially with Tiffany !

After their disbandement, their company is shaking alot, cause sistar was the most and still successful group they ever made.
Loving u is the 1st song that made them got that title and MY BOY change all their concept to sexy girl group.

the breathy voice you keep mentioning is Soyou. she's the lead vocalist and has some solo bops of her own.

Alone is still such an iconic song and dance! Check out Soyou's Gotta Go. She's also in a Cf with IZ*ONE that just came out :) She was always overlooked in Sistar vocally (compared to Hyolyn) and also my bias in the group.

Honorable mentions: the song "9Lives," "Lonely," Hyolyn & Jooyoung - "Erase," and Hyolyn & Kisum - "Fruity" ---> though I dunno what's up with the fruity video, it kinda looks like a commercial. LOL, but dang, the song sounds dope too! Also Hyolyn & Changmo's Blue Moon. Those are her older songs with the exception of 9 Lives, I believe that's her latest one.

Literally ALL Sistar songs! Sistar was my favorite female Kpop group. All their songs are bops! I actually want to recommend of if Hyolyns live performances. But I don’t have Twitter so I’m never sure what to do about that 😂
I love "loving u" because I feel that the mv represents the real sistar: Girls that are fun, carefree and loving life, hence why they are the QUEENS OF SUMMER.

I Like That is my all time favourite of Sistar's too!!!! Sistar's crowned and known as the Queens of Summer, popular summer songs of theirs that Id vouch for would be I Swear, Shake It and Touch My Body. Give It To Me and So Cool are pretty popular songs too, Push Push is not as known but is also a bop!
The tannest girl, Hyorin, has a solo album Love & Hate that consists of a number of songs that I really like, namely Lonely (title track), One Way Love, Stalker and Red Lipstick.
Soyou, also one of the main vocals for Sistar, has an extremely well known sung along with Junggigo named Some, huge vouch for this song too.
There's only a subunit for Sistar being Sistar19, theyre known for Ma Boy and Gone Not Around Any Longer, vouch for Ma Boy though!! Sistar doesnt have any cute concepts from what I remember, all of their concepts are very woman-ly 🥰
Sistar really are vocally gifted. i wished they continued on as a group.
They are one of the best vocal groups in k-pop. Most of them now are Vocal Trainers in idol trainee and Vocal Mentor on a K-pop Idol Survival Show

You would really love Ailee, probably kpop’s biggest powerhouse. Her cover “I will always love you” is probably the best cover I’ve seen. Her and Hyolyn have performed together a ton of times and even had a little subunit lol.

2nd gen of kpop is known for golden era. Truly the best and iconic groups of all time in kpop. Back then , 2nd gen weren’t shy too interact with other groups and were all close in a way. Now, you barely see kpop groups and idols interact, not even a high five.
Sistar always has a specual place in my heart bc Loving U came on after a Kdrama I was watching and that is how I discovered Kpop such a long time ago! And they really do not have any bad songs!!

Bora doesn't have a solo album or something but she had some collaborations and also she was on hit the stage, she performed so many different types of dances, she's really versatile.

There used to be a stereotype where the one who is the most visual, is the rapper... because they were literally there to be good looking... and you'll find that they were originally training to be an actress/actor or model. Of course this has changed and isn't always true... there was a similar stereotype going the other way where if they weren't considered good looking, then they must be more talented... because "how else would they be an idol"

Dasom (the one with the fan in “I Like That”) is also an actress. She is in one of my favorite Korean ballad songs MV, “Please Don’t...” by K.Will (also known as The OST Prince because so many of his songs become Kdrama soundtracks) I’m not sure if you like ballads because I haven’t seen you watch any but at the same time it could make a nice 1 song special, or on a throwback day because “Please Don’t...” was released in 2012 💜

Double Side Kick produced Alone and a lot of my favorite KPOP tracks. The snare and the tom tom beat during the rap are daebak. Also that leg dance is like mind blowing all on its own. Alone really took their popularity to the next level.

Something I really love (and miss to see) about SISTAR is that in almost all of their videos they're just having fun, and showing that they really are like sistars/bestfriends. This kind of unity stays even when they got apart, when Hyolyn and Soyou got their solos they made clips dancing together, like 'still in touch'
I love to see that all those years in the group made them like family, and the friendship it's still going.
