    You can connect a hump straight to the receiver if you ever have a switch problem. A lot of racers use bullet connectors to completely bypass a switch.

    Rechargeable AA NiMH been around since 2006 or so. But today AA are ok. You can still use those for a first nitro RC.

    Speaking of those stupid AA packs, my savage came with that and I need to change to a hump pack. It's a work in progress. Slowly but surely I'll get there. Expensive hobby for sure and one part at a time.

    If you run a servo on 4.8v Will it be a lot weaker than running it on 7.4v? i just upgreaded myn and seems weaker than the factory one was even that was pretty weak.

      Of course, lower volts = less power

    Just wondering what if I want to lower idle screw but servo arm is set in a fixed position on transmitter, will it not lower it because the servo arm won't let it go back, should I then set that on transmitter thanks

    • @HaggardRC
      @HaggardRC  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah so the servo needs to be set to let the arm go back enough too

    I see you can buy LiFe batterys for receiver pack that are 6.6v can i use this on my standard receiver i know my servos are ok there the ebay specials take upto 7.4v but receiver i dont know

    • @HaggardRC
      @HaggardRC  ปีที่แล้ว

      If you have high voltage servos then use you can use 6.6-7.4v but if not then I’d stick with a 6v battery.

    Hi there, these hump packs they have 5 cells inside, so do we charge them as 5s or as 1s

    • @HaggardRC
      @HaggardRC  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Neither, you charge them as NiMh and the amps that it is. For example a 1,600Mah you can charge at 1.6A or below. Some people charge them higher but I don’t:

    I have never used a rechargeable battery for my nitro cars because you will have a runaway one day I've always used regular batteries and never had that problem I'm talking about over 20years experience 😮😎👍
