    Great video. Just want to add that the INR track is useful when doing aggressive manoeuvring. The TGP will track a position with coordinates. Whereas if you do a hard turn for example a pop up attack, in area or point track the TGP might loose track and send the designated target somewhere else

    Good stuff CAP, clear and concise. MTC means Multiple Target Cueing. PiP means picture in picture display. The 0 / 0 in the bottom right corner (above OBS 16) is the "Aircraft Command Line-Of-sight offset bearing and range", apparently it should show the a/c command line of sight offset bearing and range for designated target when the pod is in track mode. Not sure whether this actually works or not or how handy it is to use.

    Why they dont make the Harrier Plus with the APG-65? the radar its allready moded in the Hornet...

    • @codyjackson3616
      @codyjackson3616 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Agreed. Although the Hornet was developed by ED, and the Harrier is RAZBAM, so I don't know if ED would be so willing to share in development. Could be wrong though, but yes, we need the Plus.

    Great video! I just didn't understand what the Enable Action/no action TDC button is for? Should I point the TDC at the target and press this button? What's the point of it? If it is not difficult, write here.

    • @preamp51
      @preamp51 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      With the ‘Enable Action/no action’ box ticked you can slew the tpod around to look around and still keep the t0 target point until you depress the sensor select switch (SSS).
      With the box not ticked the t0 target point is kept while slewing, but as soon as you stop slewing the new position will be the new t0 target point.
      It’s a matter of preference...
      Hope this helped!
      Cheers!

    This is going to be a cast iron pain in the ass without HOTAS. Currently trying to see what I can make work with my joystick + logitech gamepad for extra dpads and buttons! It definitely complicates understanding having to double translate and learn new words & acronyms on the fly. Anyone got a spare HOTAS they want to donate to a bad cause?

    • @danielfang749
      @danielfang749 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      hey, remember you can use multipliers keys as well such as "alt" and "ctrl". Eg.: all my sensor select switches are actually alt + hat switches, for tdc slewing I use the arrows, etc. I don't have track IR , so that makes buttons availability even smaller, but it works just fine :) Even when doing hover or STOL proceadures, using just mouse and a bit of calm can be a good way to deal with those problems, at least while u can't get better equip :)

    • @boggy8557
      @boggy8557 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@shuntera you have to match the laser code in the jet to the laser code from the JTAC in order for the TPOD or ARBS/LST mode to track it. To change the laser code you either do it from the EHSD or DMT page by pressing the OSB button labelled CODE and entering the code on the UFC and pressing ENT.
