It made me laugh so much that comment about restaurant opening times. I lived in Argentina for few months and most of my stay there I was walking around hungry as I was always either too early or too late for food.
In Argentina, we generally have lunch between 1200 and 1430 hours and have dinner between 2000 and 2300, during those times you can find the restaurant kitchens in operation. In large cities, such as Buenos Aires, Rosario, Cordoba, etc., you can find food places, generally selling meals, with longer hours.

Mate is a little complicated to make and most people have their own thermus and cup that they take with them everywhere. So no point in trying to sell it in cafes. $60 seems pretty expensive for that meal you had.
@@NaickKim I know, just joking, and also i know that in other countries if you eat the meat well done or even medium rare the meat becomes too dry, but argentinian meat can be cooked without losing humidity that's the reason most argentinians like it well done. Buen provecho!!
Mate is not something you get in bar or restaurant, you purchase the mate leaf package at a supermarket, the cup and straw in a shop and prepare it yourself with hot water. Is not a five minutes drink, you drink through out the morning/day
I'm sorry you chose empanadas from Costumbres Argentinas. There are three categories of empanadas: industrial/chain food shops, which usually are acceptable but never are the best, independent empanada shops and home cooked and prepared empanadas. The former are made in a central place and sent frozen to the different branches to be cooked in the oven. Another thing you may need to know is that most empanadas are baked in the oven, but the best ones are fried. Those of beef and fried are extremely juicy, so be careful when hoy give the first bite, because they may "explode". And last, usually the beef empanadas are made with minced meat, but there is a variety called "meat cut with knife" ("carne cortada a cuchillo") where the meat is cut in small dices. Dulce de leche is not caramel, because is made with milk and sugar. "Caremelo" in spanish means sweet, but when is referred to covering something is made with sugar and water only. At Buenos Aires you do have some shops that offer mate (no to be confused with "cooked" mate ("Mate cocido") which is like tea in a bag but using the yerba mate instead of tea leaves. In those shops you ask for a mate and they will bring some kind of the mate cups and a thermos with the hot water (never boiled or boiling water).

💡👍Brilliant !!
Thanks a lot
@NaickKim NEGATIVO
@@cesaralonsotoledo8220 😋
Es un dulce (mermelada...) hecho con leche. Hay muchas variedades.
Congratulations on 100K subscribers, you should hang your TH-cam silver plaque in the van.😃
Thanks so much Wilbur! We're definitely going to have to find a spot for it in the van.
you saw a Condor and you didn´t even mention it????? LOL ...and mate is something we have in our households, not something you buy in a coffee shop...maybe you should´ve made friends with a local...or buy "Yerba Mate" at a supermarket and prepare it yourselves
Nice video
Glad you liked it!
si, se duerme siesta
MeArgentina invented empanadas?
As an argentinian, tempted yo doubt ir
It's probably not true, I d say empanadas are really south american
Also dulce de leche is not caramel nor close. We got caramel too.
Translates as milk jam
Empanada this make in Arabian and .not Argentina..
This tipical food from argentina is SORRENTINOS AND MILANESA NAPOLITANA 😊😊
Magnificent looking countryside but dudes eating uncooked steak really?😮 sear it both sides & put it into the oven & then you’ll go to juicy steak heaven 🙏🥰
You're a steak expert, you should come with us next time!
@ Not an expert my friends but I love Steak differently to some other folks, been loving watching your journeys for some time now & please continue on 🤠👍
U are sooo cool!!!

patsgonia no es solo Argentina
We didn´t invented the empanada, it was the arabs, the spaniards inherited the recipe from them and we inherited it from the spaniards. And by the way, you went to the cheapest place in the whole country to by empanadas, not the best you can buy at all. Cheers!
@@GuerreroCanalla-t7n On the iOverlander application, there are literally dozens of reports by people traveling in their campervan who get their van robbed, even in the city.
They all went to the police, but they don't even record it.
Why would we make this up? You can verify this information yourself, it's publicly accessible.
5:10 Disappointing to see you guys use AI.
All AI uses scraped "stolen" data from other peoples work without there consent, compensation or credit.

UU.
Naick, you are looking great, are you exercising or something?
wtf with the video description? FAmous Chilean steak in Argentina? hahaha makes no sense
That was a typo hahaha. Thanks for pointint it out.
EL CHOCOLATE ES COLOMBIANO Y DONDE MAS SE EXTRAE ES EN VENEZUELA ..HAY EN MÉXICO, PERO REALMENTE EL CHOCOLATE O LA PLANTA DE CACAO ES VENEZOLANA, Y NO ES DE SUIZA NI DE NINGÚN PAÍS EUROPEO .ES ISPANO AMERICANA .
Hello
café argentino😂😂😂😂
The Hitler story is as ridiculous as that of the nazis in Patagonia. There was just one SS captain, who was prosecuted and condemned, for the fosas adriatinas massacre...
ok, you tried one empanada bought in a bad place and you think empanadas are bad. LOL
Did you not watch the video? We loved the empanada :D
Bariloche is not more dangerous why new York 🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨..
$1000 = U$1
