Now people live for moneys and their machines. Back then we all live for love and find food to comfort for more love. This song is such a great meaning to remind all of us about love. How do we get there on this earth?
That girl is so elegant, especially with that bottle figure of hers. Not to mention graceful, as demonstrated by the way she ascended the stairs. Why can't all females be like this? Although I speak not a word of Khmer, I wouldn't be suprised that it would be a well written re-write. He must be a good storyteller.
and had lon nol not cowardly ran from Phnom Pehn days before the KR Took Over, he would have himself been executed, at least that way he would have died a martyr.
It's Saksy-Sbong and General Nhek Choulong. Borey Chou Long (in Sihanouk ville) was name after him. it seemed like every body in high ranking officials were busy making movie in those times.
Scopitones: 1) In the 1940s, there were film jukeboxes in the USA which showed a short 16mm movie on a screen to accompany a song. These were called "Soundies". 2) In the early 1960s, a similar machine was manufactured in France, which was called a Scopitone.
five years later all the people involved in this song and video where told to "come with us - you will produce rice else sing propaganda songs for Angkar", this meant the khmer rouge killed them for being "supporters of the imperialist (lon nol) dog" and "being bourgeious" i doubt any of those in the video (singing, playing an instrument or appearing in the video) lived beyond 1978.
@sivhengu Yes everybody in high ranking were busy having fun, no wonder that the country collapsed! I'm not saying they couldn't have fun but there are artists to make people enjoy life and there are those to lead the country. I won't write my thoughts on this topic because I wouldn't stop.
haha its ok. English is a pretty tough language to learn. gosh I'm still having some trouble with it, even though i learned English at a very young age. =(
oh my sorry for the misunderstanding. i thought you were a khmer kid star because you said, "I was a little boy in every movie when she was a co-star...." hehe silly me, i've must of read it in a wrong way or something. nice to hear your story though. =)
hahaha omg that is so true, quantity but no quality. man i think that Cambodian music was more modernize back in the 60's than nowadays. today i just crap to me, no offense or anything.

For the rich it was. For everyone else… well…

ten years later she would have most likely been murdered by Angkar.
The Mad MGTOW Her name is Sak SiSbong, she’s still alive. She came to Cambodia a few months ago.
The Mad MGTOW Murdered by Angkar? Go do more research. You mean murdered by the Khmer Rogue. Jesus.
yeah i'm still searching for some more rare khmer oldies song like this one :)
I was looking everywhere for this song! Thank you. :)
I like the way she walks without really holding the stair bar with her high heel.
yeah that is so true. comfort is all that matters, money and machine is no match with love and comfort. btw, thanx for commenting :)
yup. Cambodia was such a perfect nation back then....lol
Wow, people actually following the laws of the road! Not a chance nowadays back home
បទៈ "អ្នកណាគ្មានស្នេហ៍" Nak Na Khmean Snaeh
Cover of the song called "Sugar Sugar" by The Archies (1969)
LOL My khmer teacher used to always lecture us about: "It's all about quality, not quanity guys" ahah good ole times XD
glad that you like the song :)
I do agree with you 200%!
A way of life that was doomed - as seen in the film, and as heard in the song. The Khmer Rouge would destroy all of this soon after.
and had lon nol not cowardly ran from Phnom Pehn days before the KR Took Over, he would have himself been executed, at least that way he would have died a martyr.

Interesting Archies' cover........someone had some serious money to cruise around in a Facel-Vega Mk3.......
An elegant girl with great taste, no doubt. That Facel Vega matches her: stylish, powerful and elegant. She's so pretty.
phengkimving2 I will cherish her as she was, as she was a MILF then.
🙏🙏🙏💕
the clip came from a movie called "Apsara"

great song but what did that video have to do with the song?
oh didn't know original song was sung by an American, always thought it was sung by a British - Sir Cliff Richards
L B Nhem It was a bubblegum song recorded by session musicians as a spin off from a comic called The Archies.
