- IMPORTANT CLARIFICATIONS:
1. Jewelry Print (the print itself) isn't actually that bad tbh, could have easily been on the 'choice' tier, I personally prefer prints with less contrast so you can tell what it is more easily.
2. I looked up real life pics of the AaTP Unicorn print and it seems the black colorway is more normal and nice-looking irl. However, I still think the black colorway makes it harder to tell what it even shows. And I still think the neckline and cut are ehh.

the dress with the rooster, cat, dog and donkey is a reference to a famous tale "the animals of Breme" (Breme is a city in Germany). The four animals struggled together to fight a bunch of thugs ! I don't know if it fits on a dress, but this is not the worst for me.
The worst one is the pink bear with the claws, I would have made a special category for itself : the dress from hell !
Aww that kinda makes the concept cuter, maybe if they were not as realistic looking? Lol like more fantasy or fairytale esque
About the bear apron and bonnet set: this was a collab with Gloomy Bear, a popular character created in the year 2000 by japanese designer Mori Chack. Gloomy Bear is a large, pink and murderous bear who is often depicted attacking humans and with blood around his mouth and claws (albeit in a kawaii way). This seems to be one of those stranger old school items that people either love or hate with no in between. The set (or just the apron) pops up sometimes and the last sale I saw went for more than 1000$.
I think Gloomy Bear is cute and that the set is adorable, but I wouldn't wear it myself despite loving old school btssb.

@@amordesdemona Yep, it's definitely supposed to be a mix of cute and creepy 😆 The early 2000s gloomy bear illustrations were also quite silly.

I have a weakness for Crown Label’s prints especially Night Carnival. Though I’ve only ever seen one lolita coord it well,there’s something so charming about the over saturated colors in the print. Great video! Reminded me of some dresses that I’d never want to see again lol
Do you remember what the coord was like? I'm curious if there's lolita pieces that match those tones, or maybe Meta had matching accessories?

The gloomy bear apron is so awesome they really thought outside the box on that one and went the extra mile.
When your Dream dress makes it as the thumbnail in the Ugly dress tier video. Also the text written on the print on the Florence medicine chest are names of Herbs and flowers used in medicine. It's based off of a real apothecary in Florence Italy where they have rows and rows of these cabinets with hand written labels by the nuns who work there. I got to see it when I was in Italy and I almost bought the skirt in the New York store but it was the mini skirt style and I'm too tall. At least I got to talk to the shop girl about the history behind the print.
Aw the concept is not bad... but I do think the execution isn't the best
Like Happy Tree Friends, Gloomy Bear, have some gore details.
To me, it makes perfect sense for the apron to come with claws.
(I think it's even better and more flexible to use than blood details)
If I wore this apron, I'd take funny pictures as if I were Pitty, holding Gloomy's arms like he was a fat cat.

seeing whipped magic in the black colorway actually looks super unique in a nice way. I never really had big feelings about it before since it looked like a lot of other early print AP to me
I actually remember suddenly that it had a dark pink colorway, I wonder how people coorded that one lol. I'm not big on neons for myself but I like the look!
surprised u didnt mention that uggo sleeve for baby floral three tier, it was fine until i noticed the weird lace sleeve

Baby floral(? I've never seen this dress before so correct me if i got the name wrong) looks like the carpet of the toxic church i used to go to and i don't know how to feel about that
I'm willing to bet the church in question had not been remodeled since 1990

Meta made a lucky pack dress in the 2000s that was so ugly and low quality that it's seared into my brain. I've gone looking for it online a few times since then, but I just can't find it. It's not on lolibrary either. Back then people named it "the vomit dress" (because of the colors), but it's not the only dress that was given that nickname.
I also really like some of the stuff that made it onto your list; AP's Vertical pintuck jsk, btssb floral 3 tier OP (there's a worn coord picture of it in one of the early GLB issues which makes it look so much better imo) and the gloomy bear collab apron+ bonnet set. I think the yellow british bear and the bright pink night carnival shirring jsk are the two most ugly dresses on the list here.

@@amordesdemona there used to be a political party called ukip in britain. their main thing was making brexit happen. their colors were yellow and purple. someone in a lolita humor facebook group made a digital flatlay with the yellow british bear paired with a purple blouse, and british accessories. it was funny. its so coded in my memory that i cant look at yellow british bear without thinking "ukip coord". i wonder if anyone else remembers. i also remember america-themed coords and other funny ones.
