Proper shame Jamie's not in the vid.. I really hoped he'd make a cheeky entrance part way in. Glad he's ok though, he was truly the best trimmer (and still is from the sound of it). Would love to see what he's put his hands to since the doors closed on Carisma. Also be great to see the R5 out again.... Jamie - if you're reading, PLEASE do it. That car is too nice to be hidden away, it's a legend as much as JS himself.
I really hope them and Jamie aswell as yourselves fetch the old days back where people expressed their true selves through their cars rather than following the crowd
Oh man this brings back some memories! I was a camera operator on Pimp My Ride UK, and was there everyday for months on end. Great to see the fellas still at it! :) x
Loved that video. The creativity they have a passion for and seeing the faces from the good old days, brilliant. Interesting to hear them say ‘it’s all air and wheels now’ too.
I remember seeing the Carisma Porsche at Goodwood in 2007 I think. It was on the Kumho stall. Stunning car! Glad to hear Jamie is doing good. Easily one of the godfathers of modding back in the glory days. I often look back at old car mags and wonder what people like the Carisma crew would do with modern components like flexible screens, addressable leds, arduinos, 3D printing and machining.
Brilliant video again lads.gutted to not see Jamie or the R5 but already looking forward to the next vid.I was asked to do the mag at USC 2010 (i was on the fuel girls stand with MAD ST built by Skill Customs ) but i was already coming out on fast fords cover at the time and month after fastcar mag so in the end i think you went with the grey jwrc fiesta on bentley wheels.Im still building stuff (see my channel) but not as crazy as back in the mid 2000s... Keep the vids coming!
I haven’t done loads of shows for years as it’s very samey now, like they say all air and wheels it’s boring.just rows of car that’s are almost the same,Hope you guys get this going and it’s successful!
Another great video talking about the good old days. I remember seeing them guys a USC one year all I can say is it was a messy one. Keep them coming guys. Are you interested in a large London tunnel run ? If you don’t already know about it drop me a pm I’ll hook you up with the info
I'd much rather Dan had got the gig presenting pimp my ride, Westwood made the full UK scene look tacky and genuinely cringe worthy "your rolling with the big dog now" just shut the fuck up and back to the private school you go Timothy, anyway loving the content guys keep it coming and Jamie if your reading these comments please meet up with Dan and Millsy and get the covers off the R5 it's as much of a legend as you are
Great video once again lads! If you see this Jamie, I hope your well and thank you for the memories 🙏🙏🙏
