im always nervous about them. I think the key is to get used to people watching you. It's hard for me to think straight in those situations. SO, throughout the year ask your nurse educator to watch you as if they were a state surveyor. Then the more you do it the absolute correct way the more it will become second nature. we try in reg day to day situations but we skip things due to time constraints. The phrase time constraints brings us to my other video which addresses the standard SNF and LTC nurses are held to which is sadly unrealistic. check that one out. th-cam.com/video/tlIttgo9kRU/w-d-xo.html

I work in a ltc facility as a Medication Aid, and have around 35-40 residents I give medication to. I’ve only been certified to pass pills going on 2 yrs now and I still struggle to find a way to be professional about such a large medpass without the typical ways ive seen other MedAids or Nurses shorten that whole process. Which I know if you pass pills like state wants, you will be on the cart for hour’s. Do you have any tips on how I can manage my time/workload without having to be glued to the cart all day?

@@Nurse4Life255 it’s 7a-9a which is the heaviest part and they want it done no later than 10a then another pass from 12-2p then another from 4p-5p then another from 7p-9p
