What an amazing man and coach, a living legend! I hate that the system that has been created, while it has helped the players, is so chaotic that it's hurting the careers and legacy of coaches like Jim. Coach is right, something needs to be done about this system, it's going to start affecting the product even more.

Coach L is a legend for leading the Miami Hurricanes to success, including deep NCAA Tournament runs that put the program on the map. Known for developing players on and off the court, he’s respected for his strategic coaching, consistent competitiveness, and strong connection to the Miami community. His leadership has solidified his place as one of the best in the game.

We were blessed to have you Coach L.
Thanks for your love and dedication to the U.
You gave me some lifetime memories that I’ll always be appreciative of. You made Miami matter in the ACC and made a huge difference in many young people’s lives. Enjoy your next chapter. Hopefully it’s something at/in Miami.

Coach L was exactly correct. Money has ruined College Sports. You have no loyalty to a school or to their team mates, it’s a shame and not only the NCAA but Congress and all the courts are to blame. Players should get some money to help them while in school but many now will take a pay cut to go to the NFL. NIL and now revenue sharing will further destroy college sports. Greed always ruins things.
