I used to jam this song as loud as Fck back in the 80,s two 15 inch speakers in the trunk bump in. Happy memories cruising the blvd.

Can remember listening to the 12" version of Hard Times whilst on Magic Mushrooms, it seemed like the walls were moving to the pulse of the track. Happy days

I so much prefer the early Human League. But these are my two favourite songs from the newer lineup.

They should go on tour with Ladytron and have them as their backing band since
    they use all analog synths.

I only want you when you're seventeen
      When you're twenty-one
      You're no fun

Lead singer sounds great. He’s hardly trying and he still sounds like it’s 1982. Morrissey from the Smiths sounded good when he’s was young but now you can tell he’s trying with all he has to sound decent live.

The chick playing the keytar looks like Amanda from Saw. I miss the 80's!

    Great nostalgia!
Both it's look like the band( Not the singers) played playback 😏

Sorry I'm a huge fan of the League but the keyboard sounds for the live version of Love Action are shite! They sound dated which is shocking since the original recordings were made in the early 80's! A lot to be said for the late, great Martin Rushent and his crew. If I'd been at this gig I would have been hugely disappointed.

I saw the League at Stateside in Bournemouth in 1979 when it was the original line-up. Fantastically Avante Guarde and very original. Saw them again during the 'Dare' tour in Southampton and have to say they were shit. Although Dare is still one of the best synth albums released, it has never sounded good live.
And what's with the steel drum sound on Love Action? Absolute crap.
