    Yes, I respect Jeremy's work while with BB, but in my opinion, Chad's creativity paid off and gave BB a whole new sound. It put them on a new level. And I find Phobia more musical than any other album.

    It’s amazing how I see this when I want to learn how to play the song cause it seems so complex, and it’s my favorite BB song. Gotta love these TH-cam recommendations

    I'm pretty sure he means that he uses one pedal when he plays live. He does the same thing for the breakdown/bridge parts in both Diary of jane and Blow Me Away

    @3DGFORLYFE How do you know his motive? Did you consider the fact that maybe chad thought the BB fans shouldn't lose the chance to learn the new songs even though they had a different drummer. Plus, even with the band on hiatus he's still giving fans drum tutorials on his TH-cam page.

    What he was saying was.. He does certain FILLS with ONE pedal... but he did say.. 'I do this PART with one pedal.. but you can use two.. whatever if comfortable for you..' :)

  • @fisk0411

    Hes not really copying Jeremy either, he's taking Jeremy's playing and making it sound better.. Example, the break out in So Cold, where its snare, china, and kick only, is the same beat as the breakout in Diary of Jane.
    Listen, Diary of Jane sounds much more together and technical.

    • @artanmcmanus
      @artanmcmanus ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m responding to a 15 year old comment ik but yes I agree
      So Cold is great for its simplicity and everything but Diary of Jane is just great overall.

  • @TolgaPala
    @TolgaPala 17 ปีที่แล้ว

    there is no sound at all. i wish there is some degree of sound actually coming from the kit not only the hits from the pads. that way it would mean something i guess.

    Its only not hard to play if you don't go in depth with his playing and hit all his ghost notes and doubles, which i highly doubt you do

    You have skills, but next time, turn the drum kit on instead of sounding out each note verbally.....it goes bahh, bahh, bahaa,bob, ooby dooby, bah.

    • @diegomazzaron9191

      Not really.

    • @artanmcmanus
      @artanmcmanus ปีที่แล้ว

      Not exactly. Jeremy had less variety in his playing and was less tight of a drummer than Chad (still a huge fan of his work tho) Szelgia just had the right feel for BB that their current drummer Shaun Foist does not have, but they are heavier now to compensate for the minor change in drum style. I prefer heavier BB tbh :P but there was something about Chad’s style they’ll probably never have again.
