I did the same thing with a friend. 2.9 degrees subcooling, then went to add refrigerant and my tank took 3lbs out and the subcool went to 18. Sometimes people just add without knowing it needs refrigerant. When in fact it is over charged. I am just learning but it's not always low. Sometimes a unit gets overcharged and looks like a low charge situation. Pay attention to your superheat. R-22.
Jay, I worked as a security Guard at a dead end job for years. I watched your videos on my night shifts so I can learn as much as I could. I felt so confident in what you taught me, I quit my job and went to hvac school in the year 2020. I did so well. P.s. they actually used a lot of your videos for training, especially how to use a multimeter. I have since graduated hvac school, received my epa universal certification, and I am currently working a union hvac job as a service tech. I really hope you get to read this, and I hope you know how much you have changed my life. Please never stop doing what you are doing!! You are and will forever be a role model for me! Thank you Jay, you are the man! P.s. if you ever open your own hvac business I would be happy to work for you!!
Wow, that's amazing!!! I actually did see this comment! Thank you for taking the time to leave it. I normally only get to the comments on my most recent videos but was scrolling through all of them today and saw this one. I am very happy to hear that my channel has helped you make the decision to switch careers! (Great choice by the way!!) HVAC is a life changer for sure. I went from an accountant to HVAC and never regretted it. I am very happy for you and hope you will become a legend in your field and state! Don't forget to always aim higher and not stay in one place. If there are better, higher paying opportunities why not take them right? Haha I don't plan to open a HVAC business but I appreciate the thought! 😄
Same here. Hated my previous job and now I also want to get into hvac. If you don't mind sharing, how much were you making at the beginning? I am in FL, so hvac is always needed here.
I am a lady and I really understood your step by step video you do not have the unnecessary prolong talking to keep a person watching but actually makes me irritated and I just give up but you are WONDERFUL ...THANK YOU (Jency)
I am new in HVAC I am student start just 2 month ago. Never work with a/c or electricity before but I am very interesting to learn i star watching your videos and I love them I am 56 years old my memory is not the same as 30 years ago but is not going to stop me to learn I may take longer the young people but I will get there I will keep posting my progress I will fallow you for more tips, tricks and advice
Thankfully, I have an honest tech that didn’t tell me I needed a new system but suggested filling it and see how long it lasts. I’ve had to add refrigerant every two years. It’s been 10. Filled it today.
I watched this video to educate my self... a tech came over and said he does not carry R22 in his van, it is special order, and for the most part he said he would recommend a system flush and replace it with R410 .. a 3 thousand dollar minimum... I got a second opinion, and it was so different, the guy cleaned my coils and topped off a little bit of R22, and Voila, cool as a cucumber... great video, thanks
R22 is really old and the EPA has been phasing it out for years now. Their no longer making it anymore. Once whatever stock is gone its gone. Thats it no more R22.
Mechanics, HVACR technicians and plumbers are never to be trusted, unless you know them properly. Since they're the only ones who understand their craft they tend to be doing the devils work by making pay a ton of money for something so simple.
@@JoshSmith-wo7zw The system was later replaced with a new one running R410, the old system was recycled and I was told yes, it will be no more, but there is plenty of R22 to refill old systems that need it not for new systems being installed.
Hard to get the truth. As I see it, techs will say what the company wants them to say to get the profit they want which doesn’t mean they won’t do a good job but everything is at their convenience and of maximum charge to you.
Jay, thanks to you I am able to charge my 1994 Trane unit that no one around here wants to service anymore. Everyone wants to quote me a whole new A/C system for my house. Your video makes it so easy to understand that I felt comfortable doing it myself. Now my unit is working like a charm!
38 years is a long time and unless you get free electricity in a hot summer day; you'll go broke pretty soon. Recharging your own unit is a crime. So don't try been a wise guy!
@@kevinmiller5467 Are you aware of the never ending EPA regulations and the different refrigerants and their cost which are fines? This is today's reality; I'm glad I'm retired from the HVAC business!
@@kevinmiller5467 You said it right, just about every tech in my area is a 100% crook and liar. It's a crime before God for them to cheat people like that.
Thumbs up for being a good friend and not asking for anything in return!! Being a good friend is when you help one another expecting nothing in return 👍👍👍 Good man you are 💖💖💖 Also my last A.C. guy out refrigerant in our unit but forgot to put the caps back on and the very next day it was hot as Heck again. We paid $300 for that. Luckily the company sent us a seasoned technician and he was the one that told us what happened, so he fixed it and didn't charge us! 💖 He was so nice he came back in the house and gave my dogs treats and if you win their approval you get the whole house's approval!! 🐾❤️😻
I do apartment maintenance, this guys videos have save my bacon so many times I can’t even count, Inreally enjoy troubleshooting AC now, when I used to hate trying to figure it out. now I look forward to it.
As an apartment maintenance tech, your videos help a lot. This is all I need to do during on calls. Just give enough refrigerant to get through the weekend.
One of the best videos on AC charging on u tube, thanks. Like someone else said hvac techs seems always want to sell a new system especially if one has R22.
@unseenone1152 yes, but it is still readily available for not expensive, $30/pound if you buy a 30lb tank. These people are installing ne r22 systems, they just need a top off to maybe get a little more life out instead of dropping 10k-15k+ It's absurd when the system still functions mostly.
I remeber when covid hit ....this guy was my teacher i like he explains but also hands on , On real running existing systems pure 💎 gem¡!!. Thank you. You really don't know how much help you are to hvac/R community!!
I just purchased a home supplied by gas. I've never had gas before, nor have I ever had central air. I ran across your videos and started to watch so I would educate myself on gas and central A/C. I find your videos very informative and concise. And, my most favorite thing about your videos is that you don't ramble on and on like most other videos. You only say what is absolutely necessary and I like that a lot. Thank you for your help.
@@isabellagrisales5722 I haven't purchased any refrigerant yet. Nor have I done any maintenance yet. I'm still in the process of learning how to maintain it. Fortunately I have a family member that knows a lot about it. I will probably start this spring.
This video was an enormous help to me. It may not be the full scale analysis that a pro does but it sure got me out of a bind during this 2023 heatwave. Can’t thank you enough. Tom
Your videos are giving me ALL the answers I'm looking for! If only I could find in my area an HVAC service provider with your knowledge and expertise. Our HVAC is a Pandora Box, and is not yet 4yrs old. But....I WILL DECIPHER WHAT'S WRONG, then will get an honest person to fix it. Keep the excellent videos.
Good explanations, and clearer than any other. I've been trying to learn more to fix my AC with not enough cooling during the summer. It seems to be a little low on gas as by your explanations. Thanks so much. You are the best teacher we could find on You Tube. You are young but experienced and with the will to let anyone else to learn from you in a very honest and modest way. Thanks again , very good luck for you !
I been in this trade for more than 10 years. And everything I you tube some hard stuff, I get your basic HVAC videos playing automatically. Because I’m a subscriber :) And and I tell you what it’s always a good refreshment lesson from the olden school days . Thanks bud. Hope you are happy in Hawaï
You only need to study another 15 or twenty years to be proficient. It's a great trade but you need to get licenses and certifications along the way; too many new refrigerants are developed all the time and you have to learn the proper use and applications!
I don’t care if it was the proper method this is going to serve me very well so thank you very much for this video and God bless you and your family and friends✝️✝️✝️
Thank you - i watched a number of similar video's & this one is by far the most helpful. Just achieved success at my house! Got an extra -8 degrees at the vent! Also - when i removed the protective cap on the red side of the condenser's valve it hissed - there was pressure between the valve & cap - so i bet that's the cause of the leak. This fall / winter i'll vacuume out the refregerant & replace the valve. Thanks a tonne! FYI - i knew there was a leak already because i'd had a pro out 2 years ago & they identified the issue as a leak using all the tools. So in my case, I think it was reasonable for me to use this simpler method. Also, for anyone going to try this after attending TH-cam-Uni - it was very helpful for me to write down a list of instructions, things to check and potentially stop / quit ect - instead of trying to go and do it from memory.
They also sell a valve core removal tool that can be used to tighten or replace the valve core while the unit is still under pressure. That way, you won't lose your refrigerant charge.
Before you remove the refrigerant charge, check access points; evaporator and condenser coils as well as all copper connections. Look for signs of oil.
@@johnnyriser8519 True, they work if you have enough room where the service valves are located. That core remover is great but it will cost at least $ 100.-
I've fixed/recharged about 40 units over the past 2 weeks here in addition to my other maintenance duties. I've had to cut a few evaps out, replace them and/or change drain pans and in weeks prior, I retrofitted 2 new systems (evap and condensing units) to existing linesets/ductwork. I still have quite a few things lined up here at the apartment complex I work at. Old units. Lots of overtime. Thanks for the vids!
I hope the service tech life has been good to you, I’ve been slowly learning the service side after being an installer for my first 3-1/2 years in the trade
Best video so far. You show what to do start to finish. Take off caps, hook up device (red hose and blue hose) where and how to hook it up. Hooking up the yellow hose. Beautiful, just Beautiful. All the other techs on here should take note. But they don't because....Well we know why. It's a money thing (the less you know the more money in my pocket.). I'll stop here, so I don't get started. Thank you sooo sooo much. May God bless you for this.
This is a great step by step instructional video. Even if I don't plan to take this on as a DIY project, it's good to know what it entails. I had a major company to quote me $26,000 on a new system. But I had an independent technician recharge my existing system for $400.
Hi Jay, as today’s Sunday Jun. 16 th, 2024 and the Father day and back about 3 weeks ago I’ve called A/C teachnician he charged 3 lbs of R-22 and costed me $320 dollars. Hello Jay. Thank you for a great video! I am an electronics engineer who is trying to learn more about everything... Your video explains in clear language the do's and don'ts! Keep up the great work!
You're the best bro, this is exactly how instructional videos need to be, don't worry about the "professional hustlers" ripping off old people who just moved to a hot area...God bless you bro ❤
Exactly what I was looking for DIY, basic straight instruction that works. My r22 AC was not cooling and when I checked the psi. Mine was at 90 so following your video fixed it. Most other videos are hard to follow or understand for my level of experience.
My man I don’t care what nobody says this video was the best one I’ve seen on TH-cam you kept it simple and easy and Laymans term so one who knows nothing could understand because it work for me and I was able to get my AC charged up and running on that video all the other ones I watch And I watched a lot of them, but this was the one thank you man and don’t worry about what nobody says cause you to man🥵
The HVAC guys at our shop gave me similar advice about adding R-22 to my Sweetheart's system. You are spot on with your advice! No more frozen A-Coil! Comfy in the hot summer weather!
If you are certified to handle refrigerants, you can use R407C as a replacement for R22 and a whole lot cheaper. The R22 around is mostly recycled anyway as its manufacture stopped about 10 years ago!
@@ssfouryou Yes and from what I read, it helps compressors to run at lower temperatures which will prolong the life of the compressor as it works a lower temperatures; it will probably same money with your electric bills; or so I hope!
I finally got around to recharging our old (2005) Lennox hp29 today (May 24, 2024) using your method (except I had the R22 tank upside down as seen in one of your later videos). Our electric bill went up in December as our system was using emergency heat and I just sucked up and paid the high electricity bill for a few months (I hate cold weather!!). I purchased a Schrader valve replacement tool and a Yellow Jacket 42004 Manifold with hoses from Amazon. I replaced both high and suction side Schrader valves before charging the system (Did have some pressure when replacing them) since a coworker had a similar leak in his outdoor unit and a HVAC company came out 3 times and tried to charge him over $1000 without fixing the problem and then gave him a quote of $10,000 for a new system!! After charging our system according to your video I then sprayed down the high and suction side fitting "areas" with soap and water solution. I found a slight leak that was on the high pressure side "cap nut?" above the Schrader valve. I GENTLY!! snugged the "cap nut" and finally the leak stopped. Time will tell if this fixed the problem!! I am a small engine technician by trade, but by watching numerous You Tube video's including yours I think my wife is happy with working AC and my wallet should have more money in it now!!!
Where did you buy the R22? Mine was running low and some tech guy came in and charged my wife $1600+ and said he charged 9 pounds F22 and he probably took 15 to 20 minutes to charge. Now I am thinking, he may have cheated us. But On the day the system got charged, the air was measuring 54 degrees F, but now after a week, it is not going down below 58, and it is taking longer time to cool. As it is only one system, the rooms facing west, does not get cooled at all, but the living room is comfortable. Now I am not sure, if the F22 charged was good at all or not. Now the quotes for replacement I received was $15000 to $18000.
@@hssr1894umm…r22 does go bad….it sounds like the A frame under ur furnace where the cooling happens might be needing cleaned off as well…u can tell by how hard the vents are blowing air out…if it’s cold air but barely blowing out if the vents then it’s a blocked up A frame …it’s the coils inside the house that are in the shape of an A …the fan in the furnace area blows over them when it’s on and cooling those coils….mine was blocked up after I painted the inside of my home and didn’t cover the vents thinking the paint wouldn’t be that big of deal…it was …lol…. I’ve had to figure out how all of this stuff works because I’m deemed unworthy due to being a single mom…I refuse to go without ac because I have a medical condition where it’s required…and who are these pros to tell me I can’t have something I need just like everyone else is entitled to expect if they’ve got the $ to pay for it…..but that’s ok….ill do it myself….its a necessity when u own ur home because it sure sounds like u were tipped off big time…unless u have a huge house and several large ac units…9lbs of Freon is an awful lot…..the bigger homes I’ve been in have ac units that require 6lbs max …mine is a smaller unit for about 1000-1500 square ft per floor and it only takes 4 lbs ….u can also see if ur natural gas supplier in ur area services central ac units too and hire them….its similar to natural gas maintenance and I’ve used my local gas company before until the hvac guys had me blacklisted from everything
@@w8what575 - Thanks for your reply. Actually I get a lot of air from the vents. I think it has been the same from past 16 years I have been living here. But recently as the pipes froze up, there was no air. That is when my wife called some local guy, as he was ready to come in same day compared to others who offered only an replacement of HVAC suggestion. My home is around 2000 Sq Ft, and one unit. As know, the vents are not cleaned for decades, as it has a bad design. The A-frame cover cannot be removed until the drain pipe, inlet and return pips are cut off. I have seen the modern ones has a these two panels separated out. So, cleaning is something that cannot be done. But otherwise, the force of air when fan is running or when heater is running, is pretty good. But for AC, it is a little bit low, as the may will be heavy. But otherwise, looks like the HVAC technician has completely cheated me.
@@hssr1894 I had a licensed HVAC technician supplying the R22 and helping me during the process so I could learn it what to look for (On the QUALITY manifold gauges I purchased off Amazon for about $170) with the outdoor temperature of 84 degrees at the time. Why are you using the AC when the outdoor temperature is 58 degrees? I had previously replaced all the outdoor capacitors and major electrical components (except the main control board) in February when it was colder (The compressor start capacitor was corroded and leaking) with no change before I had him help me the other day when it was warmer. The one HVAC technician who first came out for my coworker (January with temps' below freezing) was at his house for about the same time as yours (15-20 minutes) and just topped off the freon and said there were no leaks!! Yeahhhhhh!! His heat pump outdoor unit still froze up after a week! They sent an experienced technician out and he topped off the refrigerant, cleaned the outdoor coil's, moved the outdoor defrost sensor, checked for leaks and a week later his outdoor unit froze up again!! My coworker had enough and is in the same field as mine (small engine technician) and he just sprayed both the valve core areas and found the one Schrader valve was leaking!! He replaced this valve core and had a friend recharge the system (R410A) and after one week the outdoor unit didn't freeze and all was good. My coworker sent a very "nice" email to the HVAC company saying he wasn't paying the over $1000 bill they sent two month's ago for two service calls because the problem wasn't fixed and that he fixed the problem with soap and water solution spray to find the leak!! He has never heard back from them since!!! (He has videos and documentation if they do come back to claim the $) We had the same problem with our system under warranty back in 2008 (That's another long story!!) The day we recharged our outdoor unit recently the high and low pressures were very low ( 50 PSI each) with the QUALITY USA made Yellow Jacket charging manifold I purchased installed (low on refrigerant) last week. We couldn't find the leak until we SLOWLY recharged the system (not 15-20 minutes like your "technician" did.. It was more like an hour!! ) I had to convince my HVAC technician helping me to spray all the area's with a soap and water solution besides just the valve cores I had just replaced to find the leak and that's when we found the stem cap nut leaking which just needed to be tightened "GENTLY!!" I used an adjustable wrench "GENTLY" in two turns to finally stop the leak. Like I said time will tell if this was the only leak. I watched A LOT of You Video's on charging our AC unit. Some are good.. and some are bad. Having a certified HVAC person with me helped
what do you mean it's not allowed? All these DIY videos have saved me 1000's of dollars over the yrs. F anyone who has a problem with that. Anyone that tells you or leads to believe it's not allowed F them. It's my house my unit I do what I want.
Only handling refrigerant is not allowed. You have to be licensed. Everything else like changing out parts or electrical trouble shooting is allowed for DIY.
Thanks for your video. Don’t worry about what someone might say about your video. It’s short and to the point. Most videos are showing people all there fancy equipment but you were wright to the point. 👍👏👏👏
As always you always make videos that we really need to know, you are a excellent teacher, I have been learning this trade and I have learned from you; can you make a video on how to price when we attend to fix anything the way all the technicians do not too low or too high and we can protect this wonderful trade: that really be nice. Have a wonderful day. From California.
Not if you do it the way portrayed in this video. This guy stated how it just to basically help the system along until it could be replaced. If you were to add refrigerant your own home system (and want it to actually operate for any length of time) then there is more to it than what this guy has done. If a system is low then there is a reason and that reason (i.e a leak) needs to be addressed. Furthermore an AC system is pretty picky about it's charge level which is why we use certain numbers like superheat and/or subcooling to make certain that we have the correct charge in a system. Just adding until the suction gauge shows above freezing is asking for problems especially if there is already a known leak. If you overcharge and start slugging that compressor than it's going to cost you big time.
Ive been doing HVAC and refrigeration for about 25 years and electrical construction about 35 years I really enjoy watching you, Nor Cal AC Service and others not here to criticize but who decided to put awning above condenser 1st rule of thumb never install condenser under porch, deck etc.The heat will just keep recycling through the condeser get rid of that awning when the new condenser goes in all that heat throws off your readings.Thats just my opinion keep up the good work
I'm an HVAC student about to help with my first install. I've been binging your videos covering the basics for a while now. I'd really like to see the proper way to charge a unit using superheat and subcool. At school they taught us the "add 30 degrees to ambient temp" trick and it works well, but I want to know the more professional way as well.
Thank you for the video. I watched the whole thing very very, very helpful and to the professional AC guys all they do is criticize everybody’s work anyway so that’s what people do. Thank you for your work and Services.
Thank you for finally explaining what the pressures are supposed to be at vs ambient temperature! This is the video I've been waiting for! Thank you so much and keep up the good work and the videos!
Friendly advice; drill hole in wall of coil big enough to stick a cheap scope camera. Works to see if dirty coil plus. Thanks for taking time to help others in our field.
IMPORTANT... limit drill depth so as not to accidentally destroy the evap coil!!! That being said, he does not own the system so (technically) drilling ANY unnecessary holes would be destroying another persons property.
@@jotu173 No it wold not. The evap being inside the plenum is an all too common problem. The best course of action during the repair would be to cut an access panel in that plenum not only for your immediate use but also for future maintenance. This is a necessity and well within the scope of work required for the repair that you were HIRED to do.
ahh, the good ole days lugging up that 22 can on a rope along with the recharge machine and vac. Pump up to the phoenix roofs on a 120 degree day with the tar roofs feeling like 200 degrees and also brazing refrigerant lines. You literally had to take a soaking wet towel with you so you didn't get heat stroke on the roof. Eveything burned lol especially when kneeling down to work. Sucked. But good job showing this vid man. It takes me back.
Who needs a scam test and bs license when you can just have your buddy get you what you need. Hvac is one of the biggest scam industries out there and right up there with appliance repair. Paying anyone to do what amounts to 6th grade brainpower is ridiculous.
@@kickassclone75 that’s your opinion. Having a license and being certified is better than not having one. You may know what your doing but there are still regulations and rules put into place, the test is to ensure you at least know some of the concept to actually work on units. You can have your “ buddy “ do all your work but what happens when they get hired to do a job and that customer asks for their certification or credentials? Also when applying to a job in HVAC they are going to ask if you are EPA certified and if you have any other certifications. The more you have under your belt the more likely you are to get hired and paid more. So a 6th grader is able to work on heat pumps and trouble shoot a faulty defrost board or a failed reversing valve? Wow I wonder what school he went to 😆.
Your videos are excellent. Very well spoken. I watch them constantly when performing repairs. Very little content on TH-cam is at this level. Nice work
I tis is time to run the AC again this year, it is not cooling as it should, the return line is not cold but warm so I am adding R22, following your instructions. THANK YOU
Great vid as usual!! Please thank your dear wife for being the best camera person in the world. She probably reads your comments and tells u the ones that should maybe get more than a heart. As u were adding gas instead of liquid your tank pressure was dropping and towards the end of charging hardly anything was going across. I would have done little shits of liquid
Hi Bill! Thank you for the comment! My wife is indeed really awesome! :) And I agree, I actually often add R22 in liquid too even though the preferred way is vapor, for the reason that you mentioned. That was my mistake not to show an example of throttling in liquid refrigerant. Maybe in a future video..
Great video. This is the right way to charge a unit been doing this for 27 years. Who has time to take out a scale or take other measurement .its 95 degrees out have to go to next call. old school is the best and never had a call back
Excellent vid, great work. This was a refresher course for me because it's been 3 years since my system needed a top up. The first time I did it, I saved the cost of the gauge set and more vs having it done.
Thank you for your videos The clarity of teaching and videoing is phenomenal. I appreciate the knowledge, Knowledge is the most valuable thing you can give someone. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Great info Jay. I would like to see the proper way to recharge a system. Just for my own personal knowledge . I really enjoy learning from your videos. 👍
My 5 kg R22 tank is empty,,, and I couldn't get more R22, since I am not licensed, so I filled the tank with pure propane (cooking gas, in Aus), My tank has two valves, one from top and one from bottom. I use the blue from bottom and add liquid propane to the unit, and have done such for more than 10 years now. Works fine.
Again I wish to thank you for the awesome educational instructional video! I couldn't help but notice that you eluded to saturation = 40 on an 80 degree day. Are those the green graduations that you are reading 40 on? Also, how did you know that you needed to be at 40 on an 80° day? Where do you get that information? I suppose it's a chart out there but how do I search it? Thank you for any answer. I really appreciate it!
Hey jay great video..i hope some day you can start an online HVAC school for people like me that don't have time for the usual HVAC school classes. . 👍 you'll be a great teacher
Nice vids straight to the point but would have been nice to teach others also how to charge by ambient 80° outdoor plus 30, your high side was right at 110° and your low side 40° spot on for a quick temporary charge up. Great work and awesome videos man!!!

Do you put the furnace on Fan Or Heat?
I’m currently doing A/c maintenance right now and wanted to come for a refresher lol

The same could be said about Doctors and scientist, with their bio weapons and fake vaxxes….

One of the best videos on AC charging on u tube, thanks. Like someone else said hvac techs seems always want to sell a new system especially if one has R22.
Because r22 is being phased out.
@unseenone1152 yes, but it is still readily available for not expensive, $30/pound if you buy a 30lb tank. These people are installing ne r22 systems, they just need a top off to maybe get a little more life out instead of dropping 10k-15k+ It's absurd when the system still functions mostly.

Johnny Riser thanks for the tip ! I’ll look into that
Thank you God bless you.
Before you remove the refrigerant charge, check access points; evaporator and condenser coils as well as all copper connections. Look for signs of oil.

Having a certified HVAC person with me helped

this is great. your explanations are easy to follow even after just 1 watching. thank you.
After watching this....I think I am confident that I can add refrigerant to my AC....Thanks!

Very informative video, the tech put the refrigerant last July and this year I have the same problem I’m assumed there is a leak somewhere
Make sure anyone who comes to "fix" it doesn't just recharges the system. They must find and repair the leak before adding gas.
Excellent unit charging tutorial. Thank you sir! 🙌🏼
I have universal licence. Now i will add refrigerant to my mom home. She needs it.
Thank you from GUATEMALA. I'm learning a lot from you
Your videos are excellent. Very well spoken. I watch them constantly when performing repairs. Very little content on TH-cam is at this level. Nice work
Thank you Dhrew! That is nice to hear!
What a great video ! This guy is ‘to the point ‘ will look at his other videos for subscribing , I never do
Excellent video on proper way to service air conditioner. Thump up!
Yes I find your videos helpful. I watch them all the time.
This was a fantastic and extremely helpful video - thank you!
That's why they make tanks n bottles a certain way, stands up. Great vid 👍
Well explained, better than the school I went, El Camino college, in Torrance.
I also attended that college for music and auto mechanics 😁👍
Pls how many years course do the offer. I will like to go there and further my knowledge.
I tis is time to run the AC again this year, it is not cooling as it should, the return line is not cold but warm so I am adding R22, following your instructions. THANK YOU
Learned a ton of new stuff watching this. Very good. I usually grab some food and just watch you do your thing. Learning a lot.
You freaking rock dude just changed the capacitor now looking at how to charge - you rock bro🤘🤪🇺🇸
Who has time to take out a scale or take other measurement .its 95 degrees out have to go to next call. old school is the best and never had a call back
Great video, done this for the first time and successfully completed process. You are a Superman! Thanks.
Thank you very much for the simplified system charge up. That was very helpful! 👍❤️👍
Excellent vid, great work. This was a refresher course for me because it's been 3 years since my system needed a top up. The first time I did it, I saved the cost of the gauge set and more vs having it done.
Worked like a charm! Thanks for the simple instructions.
Thank you for your videos
The clarity of teaching and videoing is phenomenal.
I appreciate the knowledge, Knowledge is the most valuable thing you can give someone. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Great video and excellent explanation
Word
Great job. Thank you for the close ups, I realy needed to see that.
Great info Jay. I would like to see the proper way to recharge a system. Just for my own personal knowledge . I really enjoy learning from your videos. 👍
Thank you Nate! I am in the process of moving right now so it may not come fast but I do want to make a follow up video, utilizing the proper method.
Works fine.
So it’s all propane now? Didn’t know that was possible.
I used blue line for low side and yellow line to charge from the tank, it worked fine. No need to hook up the red line to high side.
Great Video! Thanks for all the information with the "beer can" method of recharging an AC outdoor unit!!
Thank you. Your advice was sooo helpful. God bless you and we hope that your family are safe during this pandemic. Take Care, Alex
Good work. Easy to understand.
Other videos I watched so far too complicated and technical.
At least can recharge ac.
Incredible communication young buck. I truly enjoyed it 👍🤠
Excellent information. Quick and to the point! Great job!
Really good video, easy to follow especially someone like me who almost done with school for HVAC
Hey jay great video..i hope some day you can start an online HVAC school for people like me that don't have time for the usual HVAC school classes. . 👍 you'll be a great teacher
Thank you Boiler Man! At present that is too much for me but we will have to see what the future holds! :) Have a great week!
I would definitely enroll
I love this video and actually learn how to do myself, I got all the same tools and ready to go and do it! Ty
Nice vids straight to the point but would have been nice to teach others also how to charge by ambient 80° outdoor plus 30, your high side was right at 110° and your low side 40° spot on for a quick temporary charge up. Great work and awesome videos man!!!
😊😊
