Youre fairly laid back yourself Dave.....Laid Back Lennie from Connecticut! Funny he mentions DC, i myself had the New Zealand version of DC in 1974, in winter i might add, it was so cold and wet we rolled our fags the night before as ones hands were too numb, and too wet to even consider it on the actual day, Kiwi DC was obv mimicking the UK DC, the only diff being it was a 3 month lagging with a month off auto for towing the line as it were,....we did the three months incidentally. This guy seems a decent bloke, i would love to catch up with you two for a chin wag and have a tipple.
I met Tom in the Whitechapel hostel on his return from Thailand. He is a true gent what you see is what you get. Always good for a laugh. Tom is now what you would call an old school villain cut from the same cloth. As entertaining as this podcast is you could do a whole prison sentence listening to his tales of back in his day and the capers he was involved in. Tom if you read this you have a book inside you waiting to be written if you put your efforts to it!
A great listen, came across as a humble guy who made the best of every situation he was put in. His daily routine inside Thai prison was fascinating (playing cricket for 2 hours each day before a sri lankan breakfast roti) - what a way to start the day!
I gotta say Shaun finds the most interesting people and conducts some of the most entertaining interviews I've ever heard. You could listen to these 5x in a row and they'd all still be interesting.
I’ve just finished prison time on audiobook I was almost tears at that end hearing the two Tony’s and frankie had past and also that T-bone was back inside. You’ve done unbelievable well for yourself Shaun since leaving prison something I’d never want to experience in the UK never mind over in the states. I’m sure the awareness you’ve brought to adults and kids will make them think twice before they do something stupid especially abroad. I’m regular listening to your true crime podcasts you’ve had some interesting characters on. I’m constantly recommending your channel and books to friends and family. Shaun, take some lessons from Kubrick in regard to foot tapping, place a blanket underneath the persons foot. This removes the sound and allows them to tap their foot

Soul Rebel I’ve been down twice here in USA, Vegas specifically. Don’t know how interesting it is or what you’re looking for but if you’re interested I can tell you my story....;) Down ( in prison), but I’ve been arrested and in jail uuugh probably more than 20 less than 30 times I would guess. 😂😩
Bloody hell, I just looked up the 'Honey Trap Murder' of his friend Mehmet Hassan. What a disgusting case, I hope the guilty three get long harsh sentences as the scumbags certainly deserve it!!! Tom is such a sound guy, I wish him luck with the future.
Took me back this one. Was surprised to hear that he went to places like Stanford house and Ashford while in this country. Spent years going to those places before going to the bigger jails.
