A proof that Stu Block is a pro singer! Maybe the most pro of all the Iced Earth vocalists. It's so great to listen to him. But of course, nobody can sing this song like Rob Halford did in 1990. (I don't say Metal God in his prime, because I think Halford was already past his peak in 1990, his peak to me was Screaming For Vengeance and Defenders Of The Faith.) But Block is doing great. A lot better than Ripper Owens for sure.
Big ups for bass guitar, he did his job, Dave nailed it 98% (Donut why he skipped that drum fill in intro), and vocals perfect, cannot imagine anyone sounding so much like Halford in this. too bad bout guitars thou...
This is killer, so don't take this wrong but they should have gotten a better 2nd guitarist.. Jeff is a beast but the other guy was butchering that song man.. I'm sorry.. his guitar was sounding like shit and that solo was terrible.. but that singer was straight fuckin killin it man! Everything else was pretty damn awesome but the 2nd guitarist ruined it kinda.. sorry.. other than that, it was really cool.. cheers..
