For the arbiter, you could swap all of us body parts with the one in arbiters quest, that way you can have a halo infinite inspired design. Since he had gold coloured armor in halo 5

Honestly Jerome, Rtas, and Mickey are the only figures I care about the rest of the figures are alright. Great review btw

So to answer your question about the dark purple energy sword, I think mega made it purple because in the original halo 2 the energy swords were purple-ish, then turned more blue-ish in the later games. Mega decided to make it the original color, which I think is very thoughtful of Mega.

Managed to nab this on Amazon for 20 bucks _below_ retail because at the time I checked the page there was one available Used - New but when it came the box and figures are perfectly fine, was lucky as hell
But yeah checking the Amazon page constantly for around two days straight beforehand was so tedious and annoying

@@dr.waffles5862 Amazon UK is your best bet in the UK. I never see them in store apart from the usual Recon Getaway set in GAME. Jurassic Toys is very good too, but Amazon have a wider range most of the time

i really wish that they made a new head mold that looked like Rtas but without the cut jaw, since halo infinite returned to that style of elite

@@DemarcationMedia well after about 20 years they added new hand molds, so it isnt that surprising with how much mega is giving us and innovating recently

Man I am really hoping I get this set, because I think it’s an outstanding set! I am fine with no painted weapons or stands, because it would be like $150. But the figs in this set are god like! I don’t like the dare that much, but everything else is amazing! Great video and keep up the awesome videos!

This looks amazing, only thing I wish they did was give the normal version of the golden figures, because the golden figures look nice for display on a shelf, but not for photography and such
Agreed. The gold figs are kind of just gimmicky
if the gold figures weren't gold, I think it'd make it worth the price to me.

Ik this is from like 2 years ago, but Rtas Vadum's energy sword is the evocati blade, which is also the highest known infantry rank in the covenant (aka, Elite Ultra)
I pay attention to the comments even on older videos.

Uhh I think the Atriox torso is that mega didn't drill the hole in all the way or get the hole in the torso not tall enough,I have quite a few figs with that problem
I actually think they drilled it too wide
I was able to snag one of these from the restock the other day and idk if i should open it or not. Assuming they hold to their plan of releasing all the figs in other sets then it could be nice to keep it sealed, but idk.
In my opinion, the sets are always better opened
Me too! 🙌 but now after watching this video I'm a little worried about the quality. Being we can see all the figures in the packaging I may keep this sealed due to its looking like quite a few of these figures were going to get in future sets + from recently released sets idk depends how I'm feeling when I finally get it being along with this I purchased the arbiters quest set which I can't wait to build...when it arrives :D

You won’t believe what I found! I found this set on Amazon for around 60$ plus free shipping! Not only that but it was a prime choice or however it’s pronounced

I think that mega should make another one for maybe 30 years or something but, they should just use the other figures that weren't in this that should have been like buck, maybe throw in a romeo, throw in the rest of blue team, possibly make a green cortana from two betrayals, make a better johnson, make a captain keys from ce or captain hood, and maybe a special guy from halo wars or something. Great vid man.

I really wish I could get a ship master Johnson and Emile (my favorite halo characters) all in one shot because second hand for Emile is crazy that’s a new Johnson and I don’t have the old ones and that’s the first shipmaster or at least that iteration so yeah thanks a lot scalpers I’m thrilled that I can’t get my three favorite halo characters.
Yes, that's the MASSIVE problem with this set. It is becoming more available but it's a very slow process
Say what you want about that mister chief figure but it would be awesome to have in like your office or by the side of your xbox

For the gold figures i wouldve enjoyed a plain gold no different shades just like a plain gold statue would look better

while watching this video, I decided to go take a look at my golden figures just because, and I noticed something seemed off with Locke. Turns out, mine came with 2 left thigh plates, and the one on the right leg was just put on upside-down

I agree. I actually have a HH Jerome in the mail, so there will be a 1 on 1 comparison soon. But my guess is the new fig will be better...
@@DemarcationMedia yeah, I don’t really like the dirty green with the little dirty “particles” in the plastic, I like the clean armor on the new figure better.

I didn't hear anything about the Falcon being pushed back, though technically, it is a Spring 2022 set so it's not really pushed back.
When I got mine my Jerome had halo infinite chief thigh armor instead of reach thighs which is good tbh

This could have gone better with Heroes line paint apps and weapons detail. Throw in the prophet chair would have been perfect. The amount of Quality control does hurt this set.

Finally mega made my boy Rtas (half jaw) it’s been a long time coming unfortunately thou I had to buy it from eBay for $80 I couldn’t find it any cheaper this is also my first Johnson and Miranda so I have my fingers crossed that the printing isn’t screwed up
Well, $80 isn't the worst you could do. Not ideal but not awful either

My only problem with rtas is the shade of his skin cause In halo 2 he had grayish skin and in halo 3 he had more of a dark tan shin color
Mega has a hard time getting skin tones exact. Johnson technically has a darker tone than he should as well.

Worst part of the set by far, would have preferred any other regular colored figured instead. Who tf wants an all gold locke or atriox? Even Cortana and chief looked scuffed beyond belief.
I wish I could go back and tell myself not to take the rubber band off of the shipmaster because now his I helmet is like really loose another thing is that I also got an elite hand for lock idk how or why but if I were to guess it'd probably be quality control but at the same time I don't understand how they can mess up that badly
Was it a whole forearm or just an elite hand? Also you can fix your shipmaster by simply putting a little bit of sticky tac in the peg hole on his head
It was just a golden elite hand like the arbiter's witch i don't understand how they could mess up that badly lol

But do you know how to replace the down left arm so I could get a new wombat drone otds left arm so the hand does not wobble or how do I fix the hand?
@@Honduras256 they can't replace just parts of figures--they replace the whole thing. Now you can remove the forearm, heat it up with a hairdryer, and squeeze it smaller. Sanding the hand peg a little might help too
The fact that you didn’t need to pay scalpers. That’s a dub. All the figs are goated need to get my hands on them. Quality control is something mega needs to work on with this set. Overall, this set is incredible!

I just got my 20th anniversary pack Monday but had to buy it from scalpers for 92 bucks so 42 bucks over but it’s okay cause never again and also I didn’t know if amazon would ever restock

I don't really like the retro style armours cuz it makes it feel from this century, halo 4 and 5 armours are hated alot, but they most futuristic styles, like they fit the time period of 2552 etc.

Yes, that y I dislike the option of going back to previous styles like the bungee Era for the Spartans and marines, however I love it for the banished, mega made some new models and they look really cool.

Edit: With the Hunter armor, it does not have the Mk4 shoulders so someone miss printed it sadly
The shipmaster is definitely a standout figure from the lineup

I would say yes it is. At $50, you get a lot for your money and there are some fantastic figures. Rtas, Mickey, Jerome, Sesa, Carter, Emile are all standout figures.
Just letting u know when the peg piece u we’re talking about with the atriox figure it’s not broken all u have to do is push it down hard it’s not easy but I overcame it

This set seems to have a ton of quality control issues 7 of my figures have defective parts or bad misprints
Yikes...that's the worst I've heard. Usually, it seems to be around 3 or 4 defect figures
Demarcation Media all my solid gold figures have defects and my rtas’s helmet isn’t printed well at all and jeromes visor is overprinted and the stripe on his head is really faded in places

I'm not vibing with all those gold figs, some of them are harder to obtain, and I think I'd prefer a normal locke & atriox over these... gold ones..

At $49.99 for 19/20 figures, you are getting these figure for less than what you would pay on a basic blind pack figures. The standard for a "collectors" pack/figure ( which this isn't even marketed as such() usually has a cost per figure way in excessive of a blind pack figure.

@@halocollector Very true. But if Mega starts pricing things way down and letting QC slip, that's a poor choice on their part.
I would not take it as Mega is slipping but rather see it as a pandemic time product. Companies can be contractually obligated to buyers while production centers are out right closed or undermanned to produce quality products. I feel a lot of collectors do not quite understand how impactful this pandemic has been to the toy industry or the rest of the overseas production world. We are very lucky to see some of these products at all.
