@@SarahGK333 To my ear there's definitely a quality each voice that sounds a little too "narrow" as if someone's cleaned the sound up somehow. mixed and fixed, all of it. The way singers do for thier finished albums. It's like that in every single one of his videos I wrote the comment to try and see what other's reatctions would be... Because I can't be the only one thinking about it. I realise my comment sounded backhanded when I read it back, I didn't intend to. But to me it's just way too obvious not to comment on, because I really do like unfiltered voices better. I'm no sound engineer or whatever but it just takes an ear I guess. I mean, this is not what human voices sound like naturally. It does sound beautiful though,
@@SwedishTourist interesting. I’m a vocal musician and have worked as a live sound tech (not studio trained, just live events) and I will have to listen through a bunch and see if I hear it. I always figured they put themselves in the kitchen for the natural reverb effect which is very forgiving to slight pitch variations. Also why some of the videos are in places like building stairwells or underground parkades. It’s for the reverb without needing external audio processing. But maybe…. Maybe I’ve been fooled and didn’t use my discerning ear. There’s another comment a little ways below yours that says all these video are highly processed as well. Someone made a video about it. 🤷
