The Paladin quest was actually fine, it saw some access as a niche counter to some meta strategies. the worst ones were definitely Warrior and Rogue. Warrior lacked support, the Rogue one was just worse than playing the 4 mana 2/2 weapon that gains durability, and they both go into the same deck.
Love this series my man. It's so cool how you create this bigger narrative around the games you've played, which makes these games so much more interesting to watch. The pacing is top notch as well.
an interesting mini challenge would be solo hero cards. that is hero cards that were the only one of their expansion, think reno (was part of the galakronds adventure so i wouldnt count it with galakronds heroes), zuljin, hagatha, dr boom.
Mummies Paladin was pretty darn good vs Big Priest back then, but never was a meta choice. HTS Warrior, on the other hand, was always unplayable garbage.
This is a great series, its nice to see older cards doing well in Wild. Back when these were in standard, Hack the System wasn't all that bad. It would rough at times, but it was still decent, love seeing it preform well here.
Dude I had so much fun back in the day with mech quest paladin , it synergizes so well with deathrattles and magnetic, probably still remains as the most fun I had with a deck since i started playing the game, hitting your opponent in the face with a full board of robosaurs was so satisfying
As an avid Reborn quest paladin player, the quest was high tier two during Uldum. As time went on, it started to get a bit worse as no reborn support was added until Shotbot caused a slight resurgence.
I actually forgot I was playing battlegrounds while watching this Puts to show how much more interesting a challenge is rather than just playing the actual game.
I actually still play mummy paladin, you can get so much value and the copy pool only gets better with each new expansion, the early game tempo is not even bad too
To this day, these challenges are My favorite Hearthstone content, love the ideas You get and how old unplayable cards got some interesting combos with the newer expansions, most of them are still unplayable doe.
Alongside Prince Renathal I think it's worth giving a shoutout to Whetstone Hachet, as it being 1 mana and 4 durability sorta carried the completion of Hack the System
Hey Rarran, you should consider a challenge to win with the best meme units too. I'm talking Gurubashi Chicken, Mechathun, Highkeeper Ra, Desert Obelisk etc. Can you win with those cards in every class?
Love these challenges you do, even tho' i don't play hs anymore. I hope you don't run out of ideas any time soon. Seeing you play other cardgames is pretty awesome too
Man I miss the Uldum Quests. They were the best iteration of Quests. Easy to complete and didn't create completely toxic strategies. I wish we could go back in time to the meta of Saviors of Uldum before the Doom in the Tomb that ruined an amazing meta.
I firmly believe that the Rise of Shadows to Galakrond Expansion "Pack" is the Most awesome one to Date. Maybe Not Most balanced one, I'm Not an expert on that, but certainly the coolest.
I have a maximum Janky Hack The System Galakrond deck I've been having surprising fun with. Random attacks with every invoke, a swarm of 4/3s, and a Galankrond slash to the face if I need it to close the game.
These videos are so great dude absolutely love this shit. Seems like you may have accidentally messed up the audio during the hunter quest intro tho, obviously not a big deal just thought I'd let you know fam
Uldom Quest Druid was my shit. So much fun running that deck in standard during that time. I think it was my favorite deck overall other than beast hunter during Ungoro
I havent been watching you for too long so I dont know if you did this but I have a video idea: You have to win with an Odd deck for every class or and Even deck for every class. Odd Pally/Even Shaman might be easy but something like Odd Mage or Even Rogue could force you to think creative
Can't wait for "The Impossible United in Stormwind Challenge" where Rarran tries his best to win a game with such weak & powercrept cards as Guff and Cariel.
Meanwhile I'm just having the time of my life in Wild with Renathal Control Archaeology Warlock on a 8 win streak in Gold 3. Quest slaps. EDIT: Also, was extremely odd to not see Dr. Boom (the Hero) in the Warrior deck. 4/3s with rush are much better.
I love watching Hearthstone man suffering in wild
Wild is where it’s at
Wasn't he 5 years old?
Now for the even harder Saviors of Uldum challenge.
Watching the entire cinematic trailer without singing/humming along
Actually impossible
Bruh i don't think it's possible
I failed...
There is no way to do it
How will we survive? We can't.
20:40 I'm being haunted by Rarran while watching Rarran
3:39 gotta love the Day9 reference, great video as usual Rarran!
Saviors of Uldum was my favorite time in Hearthstone before Battlegrounds came out simply because the PVE solo adventure was so much fun
Tombs of Terror was peak Hearthstone tbh
The Paladin quest was actually fine, it saw some access as a niche counter to some meta strategies. the worst ones were definitely Warrior and Rogue. Warrior lacked support, the Rogue one was just worse than playing the 4 mana 2/2 weapon that gains durability, and they both go into the same deck.
I love these “expansion trials” it’s cool to see the power scaling of later expansions combined with cool older cards
Love this series my man. It's so cool how you create this bigger narrative around the games you've played, which makes these games so much more interesting to watch. The pacing is top notch as well.
Saviors of Uldum was one of the bests expansions ever, still have much love for this
an interesting mini challenge would be solo hero cards. that is hero cards that were the only one of their expansion, think reno (was part of the galakronds adventure so i wouldnt count it with galakronds heroes), zuljin, hagatha, dr boom.
I love the reborn quest. It’s actually very nice with the libram package because you can easily clone the libram deathrattle for an otk
Fun fact: Unseal The Vaults HP used to have a different name when it came out. They changed it from Ramkahen Roar to Pharaoh's Warmask
I remember coming back to the game and thinking I went insane seeing that change.
It was because all the hero powers were the names of the artifacts, so it was a consistency change
Mummies Paladin was pretty darn good vs Big Priest back then, but never was a meta choice.
HTS Warrior, on the other hand, was always unplayable garbage.
Paladin quest was really good vs control warrior and that deck was pretty dominant back then
Nonsense, Hack the system furnacefire colossus warrior was one of the wild decks of all time.
I really lived in f2p hell cause I remember getting stomped by hack the system and my best deck being mummy Paladin lmao
Unronicly got spanked by HTS warrior with pirates it was surprisingly interesting spin on the deck
Man, I was really surprised that That Orca wasn't a problem in the end. You really squeaked that one out, man!
This is a great series, its nice to see older cards doing well in Wild. Back when these were in standard, Hack the System wasn't all that bad. It would rough at times, but it was still decent, love seeing it preform well here.

Have you put it with faelin? I love using the deck in tandem with colossal minions.
I actually forgot I was playing battlegrounds while watching this
Puts to show how much more interesting a challenge is rather than just playing the actual game.
Love that the video started with that awesome cinematic song.
I loved untapped potential back in the game, good memories. Thanks for the throwback!
PTSD of Oasis Surger after the quest completion, one of the strongest tempo plays at the time :O
I like this. keep making these challenges !
I actually still play mummy paladin, you can get so much value and the copy pool only gets better with each new expansion, the early game tempo is not even bad too
My favourite quest too
the Confusingly Possible Uldum Challenge
“Turns out the orca was not a problem”
Best quote of all time
To this day, these challenges are My favorite Hearthstone content, love the ideas You get and how old unplayable cards got some interesting combos with the newer expansions, most of them are still unplayable doe.
Alongside Prince Renathal I think it's worth giving a shoutout to Whetstone Hachet, as it being 1 mana and 4 durability sorta carried the completion of Hack the System
Warlock quest is my favorite. I continue playing Kibler's Rustwix deck when I'm having a rough day. It doesn't always win, but I have a good time
Hey Rarran, you should consider a challenge to win with the best meme units too. I'm talking Gurubashi Chicken, Mechathun, Highkeeper Ra, Desert Obelisk etc. Can you win with those cards in every class?
Tinyfin
Mechatun is a meme, bro? Do you play wild recently?
I think this might be my favorite hearthstone series
Love these challenges you do, even tho' i don't play hs anymore. I hope you don't run out of ideas any time soon.
Seeing you play other cardgames is pretty awesome too
7:37 face of dementia peering into our souls
Saviors of Uldum was honestly one the best times in HS. If we ignore the rez priest meta in standard
Greetings, fellow humans.
Man I miss the Uldum Quests. They were the best iteration of Quests. Easy to complete and didn't create completely toxic strategies. I wish we could go back in time to the meta of Saviors of Uldum before the Doom in the Tomb that ruined an amazing meta.
I used to have a golden Storm Guardian from a pack, I was sad when I had to disenchant him but that’s a solid 1600 dust waiting for a standard player.
Last expansion I played a Curselock deck at 9x bonus with Suprme Archaeolgy that worked very well against Quest Mage and even aggro decks.
Can I get the list? I need some fun wild decks for when I finish my climb in standard
come on guys get my man to 100k
Great job, the quests were better than you thought
To this day I still play the mage quest in my rng decks for maximum randomness. It's not good, but boy is it fun!
Praise Rn-Jesus!
“Some of them were good”
Shows Hack the System
Man i really miss this expansion, for me this was the second best meta after Ungoro, i got like 400 wins with quest thief rogue!
I firmly believe that the Rise of Shadows to Galakrond Expansion "Pack" is the Most awesome one to Date. Maybe Not Most balanced one, I'm Not an expert on that, but certainly the coolest.
The cinematic song says we need a hero but Rarran is my hero (and the hero HS needed)
Rarran just went straight sicko mode with that rogue quest 😂
Im actually a hard-core quest shaman one trick so seeing this makes me happy
I love the humor I get to enjoy in your videos! Keep up the wonderful content!
don't we all love rarran challenges
yes
Your shaman still needs to master the best elements of all
THE ELEMENT OF SURPRISE
God I forgot how much the saviors trailer slaps.
I died laughing on "it turns out the orca was not a problem for me" XD
main source of entertainment for a while
I have a maximum Janky Hack The System Galakrond deck I've been having surprising fun with. Random attacks with every invoke, a swarm of 4/3s, and a Galankrond slash to the face if I need it to close the game.
huge respect for conceding against the 2015 Mage
Everytime one of these video’s come out I get so happy!
These videos are so great dude absolutely love this shit.
Seems like you may have accidentally messed up the audio during the hunter quest intro tho, obviously not a big deal just thought I'd let you know fam
I found a lot of success with Quest Paladin copying Mechano-Eggs with Annoy-o-Modules on em back in the day \o/
Paladin Quest was actually pretty bussin tbh.
Old Hearthstone before power creep, Battlepass and all was so cool
Nice voice over at 20:47
makes sense that the quests would be at least a bit easier on average since you don't have to worry about drawing them
I loved HtS, its a shame it was so bad, happy to see it work out for this challenge
Bazar Burglary was my favorite quest.
Uldom Quest Druid was my shit. So much fun running that deck in standard during that time. I think it was my favorite deck overall other than beast hunter during Ungoro
If you think about it, Choosing Both effects is kinda like having 20 mana, because you can spend 10 mana for twice the effect!
14:24 my man flame lances a minion for 5 like he doesn't have a hero power that deals 3 damage
Upon retrospect, The Paladin Quest should have been the Priest quest and viceversa.
When you get around to doing the questlines for this you should do it with the hero and minion they correspond with all in the same deck
Watching the warlock questline gave me the idea... Could you do an impossible challenge run for each of Zayle's EVIL decks?
I heard the analytics on this video are really good
My most wanted video ❤️❤️❤️ thank you Rarran
My favorite Supreme Archeology version was Kiblers one with Rafaam
OMG Rarran is a milliionare, he had money for a deck tracker
I see some warlock quests every now and then and usually, they play Mech'thun
I havent been watching you for too long so I dont know if you did this but I have a video idea:
You have to win with an Odd deck for every class or and Even deck for every class. Odd Pally/Even Shaman might be easy but something like Odd Mage or Even Rogue could force you to think creative
Love your challenges keep up the good work
I played White Eyes decks back in the day xD
Can't wait for "The Impossible United in Stormwind Challenge" where Rarran tries his best to win a game with such weak & powercrept cards as Guff and Cariel.
I can't wait for the Whizbang Challenge
thanks for explaing the cards!
Wanted the elise zephyrs 10 mana 7/7 refresh ur mana crystals combo as a throwback to the ol untapped potential list, but alas
That 10 mana Vanish killed me. Edit: So did the Anti Succ Tech, this is just a funny video
this priest quest was the best
Love these type of videos, hope you continue doing them, even when all the mechanics will be covered. Instant like
what is that little gremlin laugh at 16:42
Hey Rarran, do u stream ur hearthstone challanges somewhere, when you're recording for a video? I would really enjoy these!
Twitch stream in the description
Daggumit Rarran ya got me. I subbed
Rarran : let's do the warlock quest
me : oh so Meca'thun Warlock to easy win, nice
Rarran : Malygos Warlock!
me : ..... so you want to suffer
MVP for Prince Renathal
Love these series
for the warlock quest, I'm surprised you didn't use dredge to choose what you wanna draw
Have you thought about true suffering and trying to complete all three quests in one game?
I literally forgot what Warrior's quest even do lol
I love this series, it's so fun to see you suffer
you didn't suffer very much this time though, pretty funny
g for the reborn quest with deathrattle its rly powerful
15:35 didn't go for the honorable kill value
I was playing reborn paladin in legend, it wasnt actually as bad as everyone thinks
Galakrond challenge would be cool
I think if you do watchwood it would be with the "incentivized" classes like Odd Druid or whatever that got support but wasn't very good.
For the druid quest I actually play it in wild. I run guff but I only complete the quest until after. 20 mana is way to over powered to ignore
Next challenge - Draft an arena deck. See how many wins you get. Then try to get that many wins with the same deck in wild.
