My father was from Kefalonia, and we went a few times when I was a child. I hope to someday take my wife to walk the streets of the same village my dad was from. He returned when he was an old man and is buried there. I have a lot of family still there too.
A beautiful island to be associated with Joseph, I hope you go back to your fathers village, what is the village called?

Cool, appreciate it! Very informative video here. I just returned to Greece for the third time earlier this year and went to six more islands. Greece is definitely at the top of my travel list.

Thank you Morris yes I visited Vouti and Agia Eleni in the lucky two years, I worked on the island, I was particularly impressed with beauty of Eleni, but as this old video seemed too long, so I left them off.
A friend went by boat to Fteri and loved it. Enjoy this stunning island.
Some fantastic videos there, went to Vouti beach last July and was the only couple on it all afternoon.

Thanks Ben, I agree Myrtos is stunning, a special place, like no other on the incredible island, shame about the facilities and the water sometimes looks scary.
Platia Ammos, absolutely the most beautiful beach i`ve ever seen.
Saw it from the top and later by boat.
Agreed Jesse, naturally beautiful with a huge wow factor, its unforgettable and one of the best beaches on an amazing island.
If only it had new steps, and the road down was fixed?

kefalonia has amazing beaches. great video although personally i find Myrtos and Makris Gialos the top choices.
