Science vs. Psychiatry

Anyone who believes that psychiatry is based on science has either forgotten what science is, or never knew it. This video is a refresher course to remind us how demanding the scientific method is, and how vulnerable it is to corruption. Psychiatrists have no idea how the brain produces a thought--and yet we pretend that we understand the brain. Our practice is largely based on bs--and the scientific method was specifically designed to filter out bs.

Looks like psychiatry never got past Step 2 of the scientific process... I think step 3 is being generous simply because ironically, when psychiatry uses their predictions to formulate outcomes it's heavily laced with transference, projection, and the capacity to view humanity from a 2D deficit-based perspective without individuality, cultural competency, or any recognition of how the human condition, environment, and character strengths/weaknesses influence outcomes... and how those outcomes are as fluid as the person experiencing them.
