Nice video Andy, she looked smart with the tinted windows. My favorite sounding tractor has to be a case 1455xl on a class jaguar 75 trailed forager back in the 90s. back in the day when the fuel pump could be opened up, she was a beast
Morning Andy, my favourite tractor for looks and sound was our 2 Steiger Panthers, Cummings engines and a great sight when we had both in the same field at the same time ploughing and discing. Modern tractors to quiet for me lol. I love old school Ford, Steiger and Fiat.
by far my fav tractor sound has to be a zetor crystal 16045, of course, straight piped. my granddad still has one from Czechoslovakia, good warsaw pact sound.
Agree with you on the sound of the 6920s! Lovely sounding tractor when pulling hard. Miss my old girl but not sure if I'd swap my new 6215R back for her lol
Down here in New Zealand my favorite sounding tractor either the 1155 v8 Massey Ferguson or the Ford 3910 when it's pulling something quite heavy, and the 5610 Massey Ferguson when baleing with a conventional baler, or the Kubota B8200 manual when it's straight piped
I think that my favorite tractor note came from my old Muir Hill 121, pulling a dowdswell 6 furrow plough in sticky going a proper growl. Cheers Andrew keep on turning out great films.

The 6430 truly has my favourite engine sound it's like a old fashioned tractor it really surprised me when I traded my 6100 1993 mod In for it since the 6100 was older but it had no growling sound to it so I thought that a newer jd would be even quieter and I was so wrong about that 🤣
6920s has a very distinct sound but I must admit the early Cummins machines like the Case 9370's with the N14's , the early New Holllands and the JCB's before they switched to Sisu

Ford 8630 power shift for me although for the weight it could have done with a few more horses. The 8210 sounded good, bloody loud the one my father drove but wasn't the best Ford in the world.
Brilliant video, the drone footage as the rake passed under it was really very good indeed! Any tractor with a turbo, straight through exhaust (I recently made one for a Ford 8340 as seen on video) and under load as you say!
Think that 3650 could do with the same treatment that you gave your one, make it look smart alongside the 6430. Best sounding tractor for me is the jd 3050 with a straight pipe.
I might be the only one, but i like my tractors quiet when i'm working :P. Just sound in the cab to hear that it's working right, but other than that, i like to hear my music :D. (ok to be fair.. I did enjoy the sound of the scania's V8 from back when I was still driving trucks, but not via a straight pipe..)
I know the average plod doesn't have a clue when it comes to stopping agricultural equipment on the road but how does George's 6430 get past our window tint laws? Those side windows look a bit on the dark side. As for sound, I like anything that is working and pulling hard and is in the hands of a good operator.. . . . .and no blingy straight pipes!👍
That 6430 must have had a tweak to work that baler so well?!😕. Ahh there's only one tractor to listen to! But if it wasn't my old girl, it would be a claas xerion 500 I reckon 😊

Old school Case IH 1056 XL since it was a first tractor I learnt to drive as teenager. I guess I'm sentimental.
It would have to be the old 1455xl case that I used to drive👍, lovely whistle to it

We had a case mxm 190. That had the best turbo whistle and noise of all the tractors I've driven.

Our NH 6080 6 cylinder sounds great whilst my NH T7 210 sounds good but the techie exhaust adblue thingy takes away that nice note the 6080 retains.
