I haven't tested any apps in this video. I don't use any social media, banking and shopping apps on this phone. The TH-cam app doesn't work but you can use TH-cam on Chrome. I had a little trouble configuring Play Store but once I changed the date and time it worked.
I have t mobile and I got the same phone it didn't work for call or text very well sadly 😢 but it's so cute as a vintage tech and I watch TH-cam on it or listen to fm radio

Discuss the possibility getting a flip phone with your parents. Assure them that since it’s an older smartphone, it won’t really distract you from your studies/responsibilities unlike a modern smartphone which is very well capable of doing that and at the same time it’ll help you connect with your friends or maybe share lecture notes lol. Additionally, you could set a goal like if I achieve this can you maybe reward me with this phone 🤭… then work really hard towards that goal. Ultimately it’s your parents decision.

There might be an issue with the battery. Does it boot up and then shut down again? Like do you see the LG screen? You might want to report this to the seller.

Hi! This is a refurbished phone. It is the LG wine smart phone but the body panels have been replaced. The pink and blue models are also wine smart the body isn’t the original one. It’s the same for the other colors as well. Their body panels have been replaced with parts manufactured in China, including the keypad. The internal components are original. I bought this phone from AliExpress. Alternatively you could look for LG ice cream. Those phones came in pink and blue but if you buy a refurbished phone the body panel will definitely be replaced.

You can use data on this phone. I’m not sure if Lyft works with it. The SIM card does regular sim things calls, mobile data, SMS
