Because it’s not about the controller you use. It’s amount of dedication you have for the character you play. You feel like your bad based on the controller you have you are heavily mistaken

the adaption back and forth between you and that Steve was insane. At the end he managed to win but it was still a great set. I love the kick boy vs punch boy matches in all Tekkens.

T7 ssr into a 10-12 frame move worked well but not as much in t8. Maybe just because flamingo has changed and my timing is wrong idk

I was doing taekwondo when I was a schoolboy and when I first saw Hwoarang back in Tekken 3 he became my favorite right away! Today I am 40 and still loving this character! Lol!

FOOTZ my old rival from years ago. I was rank 6 Hworang in the world on Tekken6 and stopped at Fujin rank on Tekken7. I reached Eliminator rank on Tekken8 in like 2 days starting at 1st Dan within 3hrs of playing. I wonder how far will I go 🤔……

It’s hard because of the button input for combos.
1. It isn’t like smash bros where you press a button and the character immediately attacks.
2. In Tekken it’s more of a “programmed input” where you press ALL buttons in a combo and then watch the character do the combo.
3. If YOU DO NOT quickly press all the buttons in the combo, then you’ll get that single punch or single kick button reaction like in smash bros.
It really is an action game under the guise of a fighter.
The last time i beat a Hwoarang player at Garyu Rank, he kept sending me messages to off myself.
It's been 24 hours and he is still telling me to off myself.

I used to play Tekken 3 a lot back in the day, now I want to get back to fighting games with this new tekken 8. What would you say is an easy character I can use without feeling overwhelmed with all the combos and shit?

I love hwaorang and taekwondo but his stances and everything look so complicated. Im a beginner would you recommend playing him? Im sure spamming will work early on but learning him seems tough
If you think he's cool and want to learn him I recommend it because you'll be more dedicated to getting better if you like the character

Character is literally a poking festival of madness, has dozens of poking attack which tend to confuse many players in Tekken and has little execution effort

I mean I lost to somebody spamming with hwo I literally hit orange ranks with him just by mashing he’s too easy I don’t even know his combos I just press buttons I have no frame knowledge or anything like that he’s just simply a spam character
