Hi Jamie. I love that you clean with natural products. I, too, use baking soda and vinegar all the time. Please be careful as alcohol is very flammable and I see that you have candles on the kitchen counter. Please make sure the flumes are gone before lighting. Thanks for all that you do. Kitchen cabinets look great! I live in NEOH and have definitely been struggling with weeks without sunshine & winter blahs. Takes a toll on the mental health like clockwork every year. Glad January is o.v.e.r!
I have missed a several videos and been playing catch up when I can, but life has made that a slow process. You could put some frosted film on those glass cabinet doors so they would be usable and still hide the clutter!

We definitely need to do a major decluttering in our kitchen!! We live in apartment and the kitchen is tiny as you can imagine. So making room for necessary things is super important. Its constant upkeep. Often I find it hard to get rid of things. I think I develop emotional attatchment to things. Hoarder tendencies, I guess😂 Anywayzzz the high point was last night I slept SO GOOD!! Best I've slept in like maybe 2 years? Well, for background reference: I have fibromyalgia and suffer 24/7 chronic pain, depression & anxiety and insomnia. Those are just the tip of the iceberg that are the direct issue for my lack of sleep. Ugh but last night I slept for 3 hours and then 5 hours!! I couldn't believe I actually slept!!🙏😴👍👍

Hi Jamie I love this video I need to do decluttering in this house my high point is my son who is twelve is going to his first homeschool winter formal dance I am so excited for him as a mom he is my last baby so it's getting harder to let go but I am trying to my low point is I got food poisoning and it was bad I am finally feeling better but I am not ordering anymore fast food again I will make it myself and save money it was horrible we hadn't had fast food in a while with ordering door dash but the place I ordered from was terrible I hope you have a blessed day 😊

I was going to suggest that decorative film for your glass cabinet doors. We lived in a house with a built-in hutch, and I didn't like seeing our clutter either. Mine had a faux stained glass pattern. Looked pretty decent. 😊

For your cupboards with glass doors, use functional ‘decor’. Wooden chopping boards, that cute little crockpot, fancy plates etc
Was coming to say this, i put my "fancy" serving dishes and wine glasses and such in mine. not as often reached for so they stay pretty tidy so you don't have to worry too much that they look cluttered. Also a way to remind you that you have those "nice" things so they get used, not stashed away for that "special occasion" that may never come.

You can also put these sheets of sticky paper up that tint or blur the windows

Thank you for sharing. I found as my kids were growing things changed in the home. Do what's best for your family. I definitely agree to soak up as much time as possible. Kids grow up so fast. For the clear glass kitchen cupboards a couple of suggestions: maybe style it with kids art ( if they make a ceramic or something), or if you find something to display. Possibly tint the glass or use a privacy window so it does not see through anymore. The privacy window treatment is easy to remove if you want to change it back. Just some suggestions.

Or what about putting gathered curtains on the inside of the cabinet doors to hide whatever you want toput in there. My grandmother had those same type cabinets in her 1925 New Jersey house. She used a tiny dotted swiss fabric, and made her own curtains.

I can relate on the not having to put together furniture. My husband and I are high school sweethearts as well and we been together for 16 years tomorrow. Half of our life and he is the God sent. It’s so nice to hear that after all those years couples can remain so loving and caring. ❤ now let’s talk organizing lol thanks for all the motivation I can’t wait to start in my kitchen and make it functional and neat.
I’m right there with you in the gloom of winter-in northern Minnesota, it is about 20-25 degrees above average the past 2 weeks BUT gloomy and windy-I’d take 10 degrees cooler in exchange for some ☀️😂

I just started decluttering and organizing my garage. Also starting the kitchen tonight as well. I will get this done before mid March, hopefully end of February but mid March is ultimate deadline. I am try to adjust my sleep schedule so I am tired. Plus with a 2 year old I am running on caffeine. I am in Arizona and it is starting to warm up then it rains and cools down. There is a possibility of moving this summer to Idaho but won’t know more until March/April.

I have been with my husband since we met when I was in 8th grade and he was 9th. We had our oldest daughter who is going to be 14 on Friday when we were 16 and 17. We have never been apart and so I definitely understand what you mean. It's just how things go lol. We got married in 2016 and had our second daughter in 2017, bought our dream home in December of 2017 and completed our little family last year with our son after 4 years of miscarriages and an ectopic pregnacy that I had emergency surgery for and lost my left tube and ovary. We got incredibly lucky that we have been together for so long and have been through so much, I couldn't imagine doing that with anyone else.
Such a great day: enjoying your video at the salon while letting my color set on my roots, temp is in the 70’s, sun is shining, it’s Friday and my son is coming home from college for the weekend❤❤. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
We moved into a new house about 2 1/2 years ago and my new kitchen is so much bigger than my old kitchen. I had some idea of how I wanted to arrange things but I wasn't totally sure. I read a couple of articles that said you want to think of your dishwasher/sink, fridge and range as a triangle because that's where you will be spending most of your time. Then organize within the triangle. Dishes closest to the dishwasher to make it easier to unload, backing/cooking supplies next tot he oven/range, etc. I haven't really moved anything since I set up the kitchen.

I married my high school sweetheart, too, so I know what you mean! He would never ask me to mow the lawn, take out trash, etc. It's funny, though, because we have two daughters, and he makes them do these things and teaches them things that I can't/won't do, like cooking, grilling, changing a tire, etc. The girls get annoyed because they say I don't have to do any of that stuff, but he's trying to teach them to be independent and I love it.

Yes! My husband and I have known eachother since Kinder and we’ve been together since our sophomore year of HS and we are the same way! 😂 I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve had to put anything together or even pump my own gas! I joke that i have a gas fairy and my car never runs empty! 🥰
Just out of curiosity, is there a reason you store the girls’ water bottles and lids apart? I always let them completely dry and then put them together so it saves space and he can just grab one without searching for the lids and straws. So I just wondered if there was something I hadn’t thought of. 😊
