During the scene at Vault Tech in this episode, when those callous businessmen and businesswomen in the board meeting are taking turns listing ideas for messed up Vault experiments, just know that every single one of those vaults that they described are actual vaults from the video game series. And those aren't even the most messed up vaults.
People become ghouls caused by radiation, Coop was miles away from nukes and got lots of radiation, Lucy’s mom was probably in the city when it was destroyed, so several times more radioactive and probably burnt up too, became feral a lot faster
Nikolai Tesla had this idea about wireless power. In the games you find Tesla magazines, and various electrical objects work just within a certain range of a power source or conduit. In the TV show, this is expanded a little, to show that Tesla's wireless power idea had been fully realised before the war. Moldaver's cold fusion was the final step in limitless free power for everyone. You only had to be in range.
awesome! thanks so much for sharing. is it intended to kinda represent the "flea"? can't remember the manufacturer but, given what you already know, i'm moderately confident you know the car i'm referring to. thank you again, that's really interesting to know.🙂
When Barb was at the table with the lavender toffee, my guess is that she was waiting for Cooper, and the person manning the table asked her to watch it for a bit. That's what she was doing when we got the only truly sweet interaction between the two of them. Or it may have been an unmanned table with snacks left there for the cast.
17:30 Mr. House- biggest player after Enclave- remains of US gov with best gear, VB etc (head was stolen from E)... (after BW he has all this companies and "last bastion for Hank" New Vegas in Mojave+ area)
please don't apologise for pausing. i know everybody has different preferences but for me it's better that a reactor pauses to make a point instead of talking over potentially important dialogue. also, loved this reaction, very happily subscribed, thank you so much for sharing.🙂
first of all, thank you so much for your kind message and for supporting my channel! secondly, yeah, that’s what I noticed, especially if the comment I want to make is longer than usual, there is a risk I might loose something important, and then I am lost 🤦🏻♀️😂
There is only one way to not be a ghoul or messed up and live 200 years and its same way they all managed in vault 31, cryo-sleep. The mother became like that because she was in shady sands when Hank nuked it so was to close and got a lot of radiation. Moldaver is nothing like Hank, Hank destroyed an entire city with a nuke.
You know, after I watched that scene in episode 1 a few times with Dane talking to Max after the injury, the look they gave him really made me think they actually did it to themselves. And that was right!
Just so you know: that Vault concept about children being separated from parents and making sure that only the smartest kids survive to adulthood - the one you didn't want to see? *You get to visit that Vault in one of the games* . And the horrifying thing is, that one isn't even the *most* inhumane of Vaults, or even the most terrifying. Those awards go to a special few found in Washington DC and Nevada...
niiiice… not! 😱 and I think since it was mentioned, at some point we will see it, for sure!! I just hope we don’t also get to see the ones you say are even worst 🤞🏼
@@laidareacts Given that there's *one* extremely prominent pre-war Vault-Tec executive still alive in one of those monstrous Vaults in the Capital Wasteland, there's a chance he and his Vault might end up making a reappearance - if the show feels like introducing some of Bud and Barb's superiors. Though if Hank was stupid or desperate enough to pay that Vault a visit in search of allies, my sympathies would lie with Hank - for probably the only time in the entire series.
omg, from the way your describing it, it really sounds scary!! but, again, unfortunately, I think that’s where the show is going, so yeah, we will probably see these vaults!!
People think that Thaddeus is gonna turn into a ghoul. I don’t think so. The whole chicken fornicator sub plot was about subverting expectations. So whatever you think, you’re probably wrong. I think Lucy is turning into a ghoul. She’s been exposed to lots of radiation, her mother had the gene and snip snip put a dead necrotic finger on her hand and it works.
Hank at the end of episode eight flies off to New Vegas, which is the city you see at the end that he is looking at and where unfinished business awaits him.
yeaaah… unfortunately I didn’t watch the end credits and my brother told me that there was a billboard saying “new vegas” that I missed! but thank you for letting me know 🥰
I think perhaps some of your confusion with the show could be the language barrier. Your English is really really good, but the writing in the show can be a bit nuanced and harder to understand for a non-native speaker. When Elder Cleric Quintus is talking to Maximus, he says that he wants to be the figurative "Head" of a new Brotherhood, and he wants Max to be his figurative "Sword". It's another way of saying brains and brawn. Smarts and strength.
yeah, you are right about the language barrier, but I hope that with time I will get bette! Indeed, I probably got this interaction too literally, it makes sense now that you clarified it! thanks for taking the time to explain!! 🥰
The ghoul who said, "that's her" is the one who said thank you when she saved them at the super duper mart.
aaaah!! I would never make the connection!! I thought it might had to do with the dad or mom… thank you for clarifying 🙏🏼❤️

New Las Vegas! Can't wait for season 2!
Very happy as a fan of the games, with how much they actually had in this show. It’s a really Fallout kind of story!
The cold fusion code 10-10-97 is the release date of Fallout 1 game.
oh nice, so it had a sentimental value for the gamers watching the show!!

oook… I thought something more was needed… like some injection or to take something like Thaddeus did!
Also FEV! I really hope they dig into that next season.

7:38 that car is a real-life Messerschmitt KR200, very similar to a car model that we can see in games.

Coopers car is a very rare one itself with only like 200 ever made, Kaiser Darrin.

it would make sense! because otherwise it would be a very fast career growth 😂

Yea episode 8 we finally understand the divorce.

well, for me, it didn’t cross my mind at all! I was so sure it was Maximus 🤦🏻♀️😂
I liked your reaction, have you watched arcane?
thank you! yeah, unfortunately I have watched before starting my reaction channel, but hey… I will be here for the next season!! 😉

Nice to see you
The ghoul soundtrack reminds me of the soundtrack that Shady Sands has in the first fallout game❤

@@laidareacts It's also the setting for the best (in my opinion) Fallout game. Fallout: New Vegas.
Sorry, Barb and Hank but, to paraphrase an old expression, if factions didn't exist we would have to invent them.
