Any time I’m feeling overwhelmed or desperate for ideas, I head on over to your channel & I am immediately reenergized! Thanks for all your fabulous & practical inspiration!
Hi Courtney! That means a lot! I'm so happy my channel helps you feel this way. Thank you for commenting. Where are you watching from and what grades do you teach?
Wow wow wow! I've never enjoyed watching an esl video as I have enjoyed this one! so much effort and useful resources! I'm so glad I was a part of this lovely video! Thank you for this collaboration and thank you for this video
I agree with you on root analysis. Quite often when teaching a new word, I can find another form of the word that students have come across elsewhere, especially here in Japan where they have quite a lot of English "loan words". Students love it when there is some element of the new word they recognize, be it prefix, suffix or root. Thanks for the great tips!
In Korean, there are a ton of loaner words too. This is sometimes, but not always useful! Sometimes they can lead students down the wrong path, especially with "false friends."
The Language Lady I’m watching from Brazil! I have followed your Chanel for a while now, and I enjoyed this new format. I think I took a lot of time and hard work to produce this video 😅
@@MrDaniloGoncalves I'm so happy you commented. Thank you for watching my videos. It means a lot and I always look forward to hearing from my subscribers. How is teaching going?
The Language Lady teaching here is going a little bit harder, because of the online classes, but your videos and engagement are helping a lot. Keep going like this!
For me, it's ALL about review! It's difficult for students to grasp new vocabulary unless they see it a million times, and this doesn't necessarily happen at home.
i really appreciate your efforts making these videos but unfortunately i couldn't complete the video because of the loud music that you put on the background ! sometimes i can't hear you because of this music

Review is so important. It takes a lot of repetition until it is locked into longterm memory.
