Dr. Agarwal ji, First of all thank you for making wonderful and highly knowledgeable videos on gardening do's and don'ts for novice gardeners like me. With rising costs of cocopeat and easy availability near some location it is necessary to look at alternative or substitutes. Me being a Civil engineer, turned hobby gardener, thought of using saw dust in place of cocopeat as it's cheap and easily available. I reliably learn that saw dust uses nitrogen to decompose and it takes a long time. Is there a method of supplementing soil with additional nitrogen to balance the nitrogen used by saw dust. Kindly give this point a thought and advice.
Sir I prepare cocopeat from coconut outer cover. How to process the cocopeat before adding it in soil mix.How many days should the cocodust be soaked in water. Pls advice the process. Your videos are so informative sir.👍

Nice video sir. But 10k/month is very less amouny he is earning after so much of hard work. He should start online cocopeat selling and can u plz help him to start his bussiness. Like he is selling ₹15/kg which is very cheap price.
Gardening is my passion.... You just say thank you.. Please help him open a pay Tm account and a you tube channel where he can add his blocks pictures and prices and paytm number.
Thanks for sharing the video Can the cocotrunk be made into cocopeat or just use as mulch? Is it good to mix in my compost? I have available sacks of sawdust from coco trunks .
His shredding machine with an attachment can be used to make coir ropes.A hydraulic press or manual press can compress the bales and cocopeat to smaller size with higher density and smaller volume resulting in less storage space and transportation costs. He can be funded by small scale industry association / govt schemes and am sure with a lian of 1 lakh he can increase his turnover to 30,000 per month and pay back loan in a year.
Oh dear... I love how the owner Farukh Sekh looks so happy to be featured on TH-cam 😁
