In this adventure Ben and I were able to get away from the kids for a morning to hit up the updated Wildlife & Fisheries Launch. I hadn't been out kayak fishing in years so I was nervous and excited to get back out. It was a little windy but we made the best of it and ended up catching tons of trout and so many dolphin encounters. We have loved this spot since we started coming down here in 2019. Watch until the end to see how the launch has changed over the last 5 years.

Was out there last year for ride the bull and put in at that launch the day before tournament. Was a great launch! Easy on the yak, very quiet, quick peddle to the rocks & nice little spots to hide out from the wind. SUPER RELAXING! 👍🏽

Wait, you were able to safely and easily launch thate last year before the spent $200K to spread some gravel???

That is a nice upgrade. the last time I used it was before Ida. Basically a muddy bank with a little bit of rock back then. Ended up having a nice bite right out in area between the docks and the rocks.

Can you dock boat there
