Great to see gallant perform against the best decks of the format haha! I also bumped up my ST Guil because the BT13 gallant has rush so u can warp and blitz. Also against wargrey u can get both the when digivolve and when attacking effect to delete a 13k or more dp digi on field so you break all the protection wargrey usually has.
At around 8:15 you could've triggered takato to gain a memory, getting you go back into that bt12 gallant if you had a bt12 wargrowl in hand. (gives them a lot of memory, but they'd have 1 security, so lethal range VS gallant). Or you could've setup your memory set tamer to clap back with the dual colour wargrowl. How do you find the bt12 egg over ex2? I found I usually want a draw over the extra 1k, but my locals doesn't run a lot of 4000/7000 dp related decks.
The draw just doesn’t come up vs Shine matchup. They’re just too fast and they blow up anything you leave on board. When I promote my stack, I want to guarantee Gallant punishes the possible 7k RizeGrey on board As for the 8:15, that is possible play, but idk if I had both those pieces in hand lol
@@MrJsStrategyPlays Fair enough! Usually I'll sit with the old starter guilmon in raising for when they push to shine, so I immediately have a response to kill it, usually they get past rize before I can worry about deleting by effects!
9:57 idk if the jesmon was at 13k or not but you should've gone up to 3 memory from the wargrowl inheritable. Gain 2 from takato and growlmon inheritable for deleting a digimon then end of attack because nothing is on his field gain 2 more.
@@MrJsStrategyPlays yeah while the deck does have few bricks that is one of them. I hadn’t thought about using the megidramon as the go into crimson mode lvl 6. I do like that as a way to still be able to go up to raid gallant or keep it on board.
Love to see Gallantmon take a W. Starter Guilmon is undefeated against RK lol. And yea Gallantmon was stronger than Jesmon in that moment. It’s 12K not 11K and gets 2K buff so was stronger than Jesmon. And Jes gets a buff from other RK and Sisters on the field. So you were cooking lol

9:21 How does Jesmon delete WarGrowlmon here? It can only delete up to 6k since there are no other Digimon on their side, but WarGrowl is 8k. RK player seemed pretty confused in this matchup.
I feel like people sleep on gallantmon. It has tons of removal, free trashing from security and 3ish ways to go from a rookie or less into gallantmon one move and the memory gain and card draw to go with it. It just depends on the type of build that is chosen on how it plays. I dont do the megidramon in mine though, found it to be to relient on other things to use it effectively and some things are specific on name
Cause recently as a gallantmon player here milling now is a huge favour for us rn including the ex4 stuff like rush guil and bt12 takato we can go to gallantmon easier. Killing Megidramon probably by chaos is a good thing so we can play both of those card and goes in to CM right away with the blitz from takato.

at 10:01 your gallantmon is 14k dp because the bt12 gallantmon is 12k dp and then su add the 2k from takato, so is a legal play

The main way I’ve been seeing gallant x be used is as a way to unsuspend after raiding and then going into crimson for game.
Yeah but that’s too combo heavy for me, I hate seeing Gallant X with no Gallant in my opening hand lol

Megidramon let’s me delete 10k or less when digivolving. Since I use the BT12 Gigimon egg, I can delete 11k or less :)

That’s what sucks about gallantmon unfortunately, it’s too fair. Every good deck has some sort of cheese to it.
