I wish I could get a laser sooooo bad. I’ve saved up close to 3000 dollars as a kid from lawn mowing, chores, lemonade stands, and stuff like that over the year. One of my sailing counselors offered me one for 3000$. I checked up with my dad and mom to see if I could get one with the money I saved up. They said no.. all that hard work just for “we don’t need more room taken up”, even though we literally have a huge garage that would easily fit a laser in it

Why not put foot over strap?
Great question and this can be different for everyone, but a good rule of thumb is to have one foot under and one foot over the hiking strap to help maintain leverage and balance throughout the tack. 👨🎓Great question. That would require a release of the vang and sheet and once you complete the tack, you would have to then again tighten each, which takes extra strength and time with each tack. Thanks for watching!🙌
