    honestly being a buccaneer sounds like one of the best lifes you could have at that time in history.
    also are there any restaurants today that still cook pork in the boucan-style? i would love to try it!

    Really seems like a fun group to be a part of for this feast. What were the knives made of that were used to carve the pig if they didn’t use metal?

      I would imagine they used metal to carve the pig but Labat did not say write about that either way.

    Great video .we owe a debt to these men as the father's of self rule . amazing that ppl of different walks of life .. in a time when all these ppl at war amongst themselves and slavery was legal french Scottish Caribbean natives looked past there difference and worked together to survive and find happiness in the lives and for the greater good of them all .unaffected by the thoughts laws or beliefs of society...
