Taking our 4x4 camper van to Moab for off road driving/recovery training!

  • After picking up our van from ‪@wasatchoverland5807‬ (they did an amazing re-freshing of the interior, video coming soon on that!) we headed to Moab for 2 days of off road driving and recovery training.
    We worked with Nadi Ardalan for two days. He's extremely experienced, knowledgable and knows the this area well.

    It's been super fun learning what this this E350 4x4 platform is capable of. We LOVE this van!

    40,000 miles V10
    Sportsmobile 4x4 conversion (2014)
    6" lift 35" tires
    Modifications from Sportsmobile (not all verified as we got this third hand)
    Atlas II All Gear Driven Transfer Case
    Dynatrac Pro-Roc 60 Front Axle
    Dana 60 Rear Axle
    Fox 2.0 Performance Series Shocks
    Extra Heavy Duty Steering Arm
    Reverse Shackle leaf spring design
    Front sway bar with quick disconnect system and custom shocks
    F550 rotors and beefed-up the calipers

    How much of a lift does your van have and also what size tires…32, 35?

      I believe it's a 5" lift (conversion and lift were done by Sportsmobile before we purchased it), and I believe the tires are 35's. They rub a bit on the front. I've got a little more info on the set up in the earlier walk through of the van.
