Many Filmmakers are shooting their low budget shoots in Canon 5D or Sony for their videos.
They are feeling difficult when they face handling RED or Alexa or Blackmagic cameras for their workflow.
During their post-production, it is a tedious process to create proxies of original raw files and editing it and reconverting it back to Ultra HD final output.
Only through Davinci Resolve, this process can be minimized through EDL and XML file and matching it to the original RAW and grading it, then final delivery.
If you post the video on how to do this process neatly through Davinci Resolve, this will really help lots of budding filmmakers to understand the technicalities of the Camera file system and post-processing it through software like this.
The only guy on TH-cam to not waste time and started the tutorial within 1 minute...hats off sir👍🏻

i was familiar with premiere pro for past 3 year.But when it comes to color grading davinci resolve is far better than premiere. so i decided to explore this software 6 months back. i'm learning too. Pls do more video in resolve

To cut and remove the front portion of a clip at the play head pointing position use Control + Shift + [ as such to remove the back portion of a clip at the play head position use control + Shift + ] this will delete unwanted parts of the clip as well as remove the blank area of the timeline automatically.

11:32 Bro To delete and join the clip, use *Ripple delete* feature.
Try right click and select *Ripple delete* then the clip automatically joined.
11:47 you can click on the empty space between the two clips, and when the empty space gets selected, press del/backspace, it will delete the gap, you don't have to drag the clips to remove the space. Ripple delete gap maari than. @V2K (Tamil) Photography
Instead of using delete use shift+delete to avoid gap

Brother u can use “Ripple delete” or “Ripple cut” option in edit page so u can use like magnetic attachments. Simply right click the clip u will get that option

Since you said, you are working from Blackmagic Raw, please put a video where you create a proxies of RAW videos and working on FCPx or Premiere Pro and again getting back the original quality of video through Davinci Resolve with the help of EDL or XML files.

One an other thing I guess this is an important too. you have to choose or check the right frame rate before you bring clips in the time line. because you cannot change it after.
