      I have started making the fabric beads and applying the seed beads on top with the hot glue gun.. while watching you make yours! I also copied your idea of polishing my straw with polish.. it came out nicely but im not done with it yet! I will be adding a shimmery,Glittery polish on top with tiny seed beads ...

    I used to have the same paper trimmer, but I love my Fiskars Procision much more. It is a self sharpening tool, so I don't have to buy new blades every week (my other addiction is making mini albums 😊 those addictions work pretty well together). Lots of greetings from Germany

      Just wanted to add a tip l got that you might like. You had gold on the edges of some of your beads that you said you dipped in something(?). One of the first shows l watched gets .5" gold tape and attaches it for an inch or so on both sides of wide part of your paper that you roll. As you roll, your gold finish is already there. But l admit gold paint, nail polish. There are a few ways. Sure makes them beautiful.

    I think you've just made another addict. 😁 Hello from 🇨🇦. My eyes are now at the age of taking glasses on and off constantly so I need an eyeglass chain so I don't keep losing them. I couldn't find any I like so thought I'd learn to make my own and somehow landed here. Now I'm going to add some paper beads to my design. Had never heard of these before today.     Just subbed. Lovely work! I don't understand why you use 6 different patterned triangles when making the chunky bead because you only see the outer pattern? I'm going to have a go at this tomorrow. Thanks! 😊

    *Hello, I'm your 631st Thumbs up. interested in making these. If you dip them in the sealer wouldn't it fill the holes & clog them? 😊😊😊* Sharon in SC

      You could dip them in the sealer, but then keep moving them around so the sealer covers the beads smoothly and doesn't clog on just one side, and will also keep the holes from clogging.

    With the big long beads ,do you cut the paper on a slant or just a straight edge

      Hi Hannah, I've used mine in lots of outdoor projects and they still look great! As long as you seal them well, they work really well.

    How do you slide the beads off the winder so easily? My beads do NOT cooperate with being removed fromwinder!

      Hi Lorraine, I don't have to much trouble with getting them off, maybe I do them a little bit looser than you. But one think you could try is to rub a candle over the winder, so you transfer a little bit of the candle wax onto it first.

    You're kids bookbag... You can make them beads from every end of year backpack clean out. Or be brave and teach them to. Then they give to grandma for merry Christmas. Lol
    I gotta say, this is one example of why mom, at home, with children, leads to less waste and less landfill trash, ocean trash, as opposed to dad, think Micheal Keaton and vacuum jaws .. yeah.
