So my favorite character interaction was actually a bit of an accident
My mom, sister, and I were in Florida October 2016(Hurrican Matthew) and it was very hot for us. We are from New England so heat and humidity is not something we are used to dealing with in October. We had eaten at the Animal Kingdom Lodge(Dining with an animal specialist) and the food, although delicious, was very rich. I got dehydrated and nearly passed out after the meal as we were waiting in bag check at Hollywood Studios. A security guard took me over to some shade, paramedics were called, and I was deemed okay
The security guard wheeled me over to first aid, which just so happens to be right next to where characters go to take their breaks in that area of the park I guess. So just as Im being wheeled to the door of first aid we see Donald and Daisy. Now, Daisy is one of my favorite characters(Ive always experienced the pleasant Daisy I guess) and I say that to the security guard, just as a little fact. He asks Donald and Daisy if they can take a few minutes to say hello to a sick princess and I just start crying because I was not expecting them to take the time to not only come say hi, but give me hugs and kisses and do their best to make me smile. After a bit of crying, and some awesome pictures taken by my mother, Donald takes my arm, helps me to stand up, and walks me into first aid
And that was the best interaction I ever had
And that is why I will forever love cast members

The best interaction I ever had was actually with Chewbacca, I was wearing space buns and he bowed to me becuz he thought I was royalty like Leia.

I had a talking trash can at Tomorrowland follow me around calling me Minnie mouse because I had on the ears lol
Note to self were space buns to Hollywood studios
Morgan Bean I miss that trash can! They actually got rid of him.
I was at goofys kitchen one time and I was on my phone. And apparently goofy didn't like that because he walked up to me and hit me with a napkin 😂😂 I wasn't even mad tho it was too funny.

He just wanted you to look up and take in the experience! Rather than just staring at a screen. I mean, you're at the happiest place on earth, so why not fully embrace that?
I really like how professional you stayed when your co-worker wasn't. At least they could trust someone to do the right thing.

My favorite character interaction was with Buzzlightyear in MNSSHP. I was dressed like the mad hatter (Kind of... most people thought I was a leprechaun... the costume was kind of incomplete) but suddenly I come in and Buzz hugs me, he gave me a stamp... and when we were taking pictures he raised his hand as if he was having tea and signaled me to follow up. I was so happy not only because he understood my costume but because I also got a picture with Mrs. Nesbit

These videos are so interesting to me! Daisy was the first character I ever met (just had my first trip this year! Already have my second planned for this fall) and it was amazing. She saw my “first time” pin and pointed to it and I told her not only was it my first time but she was my first character and she really did a lot of extra interactions with me and went out of her way to make it magical for me. I never cared for Daisy until then and now she is a favorite!

My favourite character interaction was actually with Donald, we were stood ready to have our photo taken and he takes the Minnie Mouse hat I was wearing. Now as a little kid I found this super funny, he then proceeds to try and fit this tiny Minnie Mouse hat on his head, I think I almost died of laughter.

I love how you truly care about the guest experience - I can tell you were a great Cast Member for sure!! That's so funny that this story is about Daisy because this character was my daughter's first and only creepy character interaction we've had at Disney. She was about 10 or 11, and we stumbled upon Daisy coming out from a walkway close to the back of the Emporium at Magic Kingdom and she walked over to us and acted like she wanted to pose for a picture with my daughter. Well, while I was snapping the pic, she was whispering and basically talking to herself under her breath and it really weirded my daughter out! She didn't want to meet her again until our June trip, when she was 16! This most recent meet and greet was at the front of Hollywood, so I think it's probably where you were hanging out with Daisy too, or close by anyway. Crazy Daisy!!
Oh my gosh!! I would be SO FREAKED OUT too! I don't blame your daughter at all for not wanting a picture with her until years later. And yep, front of hollywood studios is where I was at! She certainly is crazy.. And thanks for your kind words!
I will have to tell her your story (or better yet, show her this video), because we had never heard of any other bizarre character interaction stories, and with Daisy to boot, until now! Poor Daisy - hopefully she will be hanging out with better performers these days because she really is an adorable character!

In Disneyland California I was doing character dining and the mad hatter was talking to guy at the table next to us with his normal voice. I got scared and hid under the table
Best interaction was with Minnie at OHana. She flirted with my middle school son and Mickey acted jealous. We carried over that interaction the next time we saw these characters on the Disney Cruise.

Girl going to the parks solo is the BEST experience! You meet other people while in line and just do whatever you want! haha I hope you did that a couple times during your program!
Honestly, about 80% of the time i went to the parks it was by myself because none of my roommates or coworkers EVER had the same days off as me (until the last month of my program!) so I was really looking forward to going with people lol But yeah, it's great doing whatever you want in the parks!
One of my favorite interactions was meeting Belle! I can’t remember which park I was in when my family met her, but we are a large party. We are a party of 10 and we went to meet Princess Belle. She was so surprised with how large our party was, but she was so thrilled! She thought we brought the entire kingdom and asked the name of our kingdom. Belle thought my Dad and stepmom were the king and queen of the kingdom and my sisters were the the princesses and my brother was the prince! Belle made us feel like we were royalty and she was meeting US, as opposed to us meeting HER haha

Thank you for making magical moments happen. I really enjoyed the character interaction at Epcot at the character spot with Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy. I grew up in Southern California and enjoyed Disneyland for years and years. The best part of Disney are not the rides or attractions, but the cast members. They make everything personal, magical , and wonderful. Thank you for being part of that magic. You all are the reason why I return.

I havent actually met the characters, just took pictures from a far. the best place is where ever i see them at. the next time i go to Disney I’m going to meet some characters.
Yes you should! You can schedule fast passes for certain characters to save time, and character dining is a great way to meet 4-6 characters in 90 minutes!
I love meeting the characters! Once when I was little, I was meeting Goofy and I was very shy. I've always been a really shy person so I didn't really smile too much while they were taking photos. Goofy noticed that I wasn't smiling too much, so he starts tickling me! Of course I start laughing, and they got some pictures of me smiling bigger. I love meeting characters when they have special interactions with you!

my favorite character interaction was probably a few years ago when we went to the garden grill for dinner and met chip and dale. my dad has a full tattoo sleeve on his arm, so chip took the napkin off the table and started trying to clean the tattoos off of his arm. he then went and got a spray bottle and towel from a janitor or something and tried with those to clean the tattoos off of his arm (he never sprayed my dad or anything dw) and it was hilarious and had our whole family cracking up.

My favorite character interaction is Stitch from Lilo and Stitch ❤️ He has always been my favorite and he’s so cute to interact with ❤️
Stitch is so much fun!!! When I met him I asked if we could do his signature poses, so we pretended like we were on a surfboard, and then did the hang loose sign! So fun!
My brother is Autistic and was OBSESSED with Stitch when he was little. He carried around a little stuffed Stitch toy and it was so cute to see big Stitch interact with him! I’ll never forget it 🌺❤️

My favorite character interaction has to be from a couple of years ago when my brother proposed to my (now) sister-in-law. He proposed during breakfast at Cinderella’s Royal Table around Christmastime, and as we were walking out, the Fairy Godmother passed by the castle and noticed their “just engaged!” Buttons and complimented the ring and gave her congratulations to them

I went when i was 7 and 8 and 14 - met the characters at the younger age, I really wish to go back as disney is special for so many reasons, alas I'm 25 and travelling else where. Your video was lovely, a nice balance about experience rather than slating which unfortunately others do. Thank you for sharing.

This is one of my favourite character interactions. When I was about four, me and my family were in blizzard beach. We met goofy and he gave me a hug and then he walked around blizzard beach with us for a while. It was so magical and even though it was nearly 10 years ago now I still remember it x

Just discovered your channel, and it’s so fun, thank you! One of my favorite character interactions was with Eeyore. We had just gone through seeing Pooh and Tigger, and Eeyore was our last stop. My bigger kids got their hugs, and the attendant was ushering us aside. My 9-month-old baby still wanted to see Eeyore, and he caught that. He followed us over, came and held her hands, and whistled a sweet tune to her. She got to pet him and hug his nose, and was so happy. It was so sweet, and those two extra minutes were priceless. No pictures, because it surprised us, but I’ll never forget how happy that made my baby!

TH-cam just recommended your channel...so random person here, lol...I was an attendant in 2007 (Spring Dcp)...saw your other video first, AND OMG YESSS... I know all of what you are saying!! I despised breakers because they acted high and mighty but totally weren't! I had my bad days, too (mostly Magic Kingdom) but I wouldn't trade my experience for anything. I look forward to more videos of your experience!!! Also...back in my day, it was up to 2 hours for a 1/2 pt...I once was an hour and a half late because I woke up late. The base actually called and that's when I woke up. I hated the location anyways (DAK), so I took my time...even got breakfast ;)

Recently discovered your channel. They way you talk about respecting the Guests’ time and how they paid $1000s of dollars and waited it line to meet the characters is great. It’s clear you truly cared about the Guest experience! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 you probably made SO much magic in your tenure!!!

Just came across your channel (I know I'm a bit late!), love your stories! :)
My favorite interactions were, funnily enough, within the same visit to California Adventure Park just last month! I'm a huge Kingdom Hearts fan - it's my favorite series of all time - so I always try to wear something KH-related when I visit the parks, especially since I wish Disney would represent the series more. So it always makes my day when guests come up to me and tell me they love the series too, or when a cast member so much as acknowledges it.
Meanwhile, my brother loves Black Panther and went in a BP t-shirt; I was in a KH t-shirt with the main character Sora on it. We waited about 1.5 hours in line to meet Black Panther, and unfortunately he had to go for lunch JUST when we got to the front of the line. But I don't regret it at all! The line attendant, it turns out, loved KH too. And he, my brother and I spent almost the entire lunch hour just chatting about our love for the series and for Marvel comics. He had a grin on his face the whole time, as did we. Disney cast members have my undying respect, in and out of costume.
Later into the day, we met Nick and Judy from Zootopia. Nick pointed at my brother's t-shirt and then made a Black Panther claw stance, which was adorable. I thought that'd be it and was about to pose for our picture... but then he pointed at my t-shirt and made a stance like he was summoning Sora's Keyblade! His attendant was making jokes about how maybe Nick can be in KH4 when it comes out 30 years from now. One of the happiest moments of my life.
Aw I love that! Magical memories are my favorite!!
My daughter loves all the characters. My fave location is character training where we have met the villains.
I have yet to meet a villain! Scratch that - I've met Cruella - but I really want to meet some others! Who all did you meet?
My favorite character interaction was with Chewie! I was wearing a storm troopers shirt, which he didn't like, so he put me in the corner while he interacted with my fiance and then hugged me into him so you couldn't see my shirt in the picture. We also got to meet the toy soldiers from Toy Story that day and while it was a quick interaction, it was so fun because we had never seen them before!
Aww that's awesome! haha that's funny Chewie hid your shirt! And wow, jealous! I've never met Green Army Men either!
I haven't really been interested in meeting characters the last few trips (definitely Mickey though!) A few years ago, I did decide that I'd like to meet Baymax from Big Hero 6 because I really enjoyed the movie. Oh my goodness he was so amazing! The line literally had maybe one or two familys which is one of the reasons we decided to meet him. I had on a BB-8 hat that he tried to work by pressing the buttons and it was so awesome. I definitely want to start meeting more characters when we go in April this year! By the way I love your channel!

My favorite character interaction has got to be the Incredibles! They're usually upbeat and caring. I have this great picture of Frozone, Mr. Incredible and I just cracking up about something, probably my favorite picture with a character.
Oh, wait. But then there's Woody. I have such a HUGE crush on him. I remember once we were wearing the same boots and he got super excited, lol.

My favorite character interaction was definitely Chip and Dale at AK in 2015 :) They were so sweet, it was my first trip to WDW and the characters were nice enough to dance with me, pose for pictures and give me an overall great experience on my birthday trip!

Tbh when I visit the parks meeting the characters are the best!! I think one of my favorite places to meet characters is on Main Street. Right when you enter there's someone waiting for you (last time I went it was Stitch). Pretty great way to start the day if you ask me :3
i always love those character interactions on Main Street as well! When I was there, Minnie would meet until 10:30 with Pluto, and then Stitch came out and took her spot once Mickey's Royal Friendship Faire started!
My favourite character interaction was tigger who out of all the children around multiple younger than me he took me arm in arm and walked to the whinnie the Pooh ride which was around a 6 minute walk. I still think back at how amazing it was bouncing like I was 6 again

Yes! Love love LOVE meeting Anna and Elsa at Summerhus! It's usually about a 15 minute wait when I'm there but that's still 100% worth it!

I had done a character audition right after I applied so I was pending 3 months before I found out I was accepted lol. Although I was a little disappointed I didn't get a character performer role, I still had an amazing time!

Love your videos! I did the dcp in entertainment in 2013 and then worked at Universal as a character performer until last year and now I work at Cedar Point and I hang out with the Peanut's Gang! I love hearing all of your character interaction stories, it helps me remember all of my memories! :)

Olivia Simone No problem! Haha thanks! I’m planning on moving back down to Orlando in the fall and hopefully finally getting into performing at Disney! I’ve auditioned over 17 times and I got put in the pool 12 times so hopefully it’ll work out! Oh yeah I have some crazy ones! I also did Halloween Horror Nights and the Macy’s Christmas parade at Universal so I have some great ones and some awful ones!

I went to Disneyland for my bachelorette weekend, and my family gave me guff about it and make the joke about finding "Chip n' Dale Dancers."
Soooo I found Chip, and mentioned that to him. He then proceeded to do a belly dance and pose for pictures.

I've only been to Disneyland & California Adventure. My favorite interactions: our first visit I think I would have to say Tinkerbell because of how she was playfully picking on my son. My daughter was in awe, Tink was her favorite at the time. Anyway my son was acting like he didn't want anything to do with the fairies and was sort of trying to hide. I guess Tink realized what he was doing, so she started picking on him and making him laugh. We had a blast with Chip and Dale in the park and at our character dining. Our 2nd visit: Pluto and Stitch. Pluto was being more goofy than Goofy lol. He was so much fun. Stitch is a family favorite and the only place we could see him was character dining. My daughter had gotten a baby Stitch and I had gotten a Stitch hat. When he came to our table he picked up the baby Stitch, cradled it and started swaying. I had the hat on and he sort of put his chin on my head.
Just curious, have you met Brian Hull? He does impressions of characters and likes to go to Disney parks and do impressions when meeting characters? I ask because I watched his videos and Donald's reaction cracks me up every time Brian meets Donald.

I just found your channel and I'm over the moon! I recall 2 favorite interactions, although both happened at Disneyland & Disney California Adventure:
1. Ariel is my favorite princess, so when I met her for the 1st time ever I remember getting super duper excited, I felt like a 10 year old all over again. I told her she was the best princess ever and admired her courage to not settle for anything less than what she dreamed of being. We engaged in this very beautiful conversation that I still remember to this day when I'm feeling down and it truly helps. As I was saying goodbye to her, she said "fellow princess, do you think it'd be too much too ask If you'd bring me a dinglehopper next time you pay me a visit? I lost mine!".
2. Daisy! Ha, but got the sweet Cali version :P it was my birthday and I saw Daisy walking along with another Cast Member. I asked her where was Daisy going to be available for photos, and she said "right this way, would you like to join us?", I've never walked with a character before, it was soooooo magical

My favorite character interactions were with Baloo and Snow. Although meeting Belle is always my favorite as well since she’s my favorite princess.
So with Baloo this one time I had met him for the first time in like over ten years and I told him as such and that I was so excited to see him. And then he got really excited and hugged me again and then he just took my hand and showed the attendant and she goes: „Yeah you’re right Baloo, she doesn’t have a ring so maybe she doesn’t have a boyfriend“ at the time I was single so I told them I didn’t and Baloo got real excited and the attendant kinda translated what he was saying „Yeah so maybe you could be her boyfriend“ and I totally played along and was like „yeah sure! Why not?“ then he got even more excited and took my hand and kinda started walking off with me but then the character attendant stopped him and was like „No Baloo you can’t just take her with you to the Jungle tho“ it was so funny. Idk. Then like three years later I meet Baloo again and my friend and I tell him this story and he was so excited. I think Baloo‘s friend was just about to leave for his break and left for his break after meeting us, and I hope Baloo and his friend remember that too or at least had them leave for break with a nice feeling.
The character interaction with Snow was at Dining. In Disneyland Paris at the Auberge de Cendrillon. Which makes it even more special as I know that can be quite stressful for character performers as their time with the character they’re hanging out with and the guests is limited and they need to be efficient. But so Snow comes over to us and talks to us for a moment before she leaves to talk to the guests her friend is supposed to, then we have our actual interaction with her a little bit later, she came right back to us and I thanked her for it and we talked about the dwarves and her prince and took our pictures. And she seemed to really enjoy talking to us - mind you we were all adults in our early twenties (me and my friends Alessandro and Raphael they’re twins). And after we‘d met all of the other characters we were having our desserts and then she came over to our table again even though she and her friend should’ve been getting their well deserved break. But instead she came back to chat to us and we figured out what our dwarfnames should be. It was so lovely. We‘ll never forget that. I wish I could tell Snow‘s friend that she made our day that day.

When I first went to Disneyland, I was 12. My favorite character interaction was when I was getting an autograph from Goofy. Omg! It was so hilarious! He was acting like he was giving my pen back to me. When I went to grab it, he'd move his hand. I'd try again, and he'd do it again. And again. 🤣😆 About 5 times he was playing keep away with the pen. Everyone, including me thought that was the best thing ever! He eventually gave it back. Lol. I miss going to Disneyland. That was sooo fun!

The best interaction was just a few weeks ago. My daughter is a toddler, not even two yet, and she LOVES Minnie and Mickey. We went to meet them at magic kingdom and as soon as we got to the front of the line she ran to Minnie and mickey and gave them a huge hug and kiss. They were so accommodating and gave a million hugs. When they were done my daughter went to the middle of the stage and said "YAYYYY" with her hands up in the air and the guests waiting along with Minnie and mickey threw their hands up with her! She also asked for another hug right before we left and Minnie gave it to her and then gestured her hands over her heart. Needless to say we got great pictures!

Daisy is my favorite. Donald has a mean streak and she gives it right back. Mickey and Minnie are too perfect. The Daze is my kind!
My favorite character interaction was Caballeros Donald at the Mexico Pavilion in Epcot. I told Donald that I found out he was here in Mexico and I ran over to meet him because he was my favorite. He stoped and got so excited, then signed my autograph book and wrote “Your my favorite caballero, Donald Duck #1” it truly made me feel so special and he will always be my favorite!
