Channel looks very promising! All flyin’, no yappin’ :-) Amazing flight. Is it possible to set the cam to focus on infinity ? It focuses on the windshield bugs a lot, and the scenery is out of focus.
When VFR you’re providing your own terrain clearance. To that effect 91.119 would come into play…though helicopters are cautiously excluded assuming you don’t cause risk to property or people on the ground. See below: §91.119 Minimum safe altitudes: General. Except when necessary for takeoff or landing, no person may operate an aircraft below the following altitudes: (a) Anywhere. An altitude allowing, if a power unit fails, an emergency landing without undue hazard to persons or property on the surface. (b) Over congested areas. Over any congested area of a city, town, or settlement, or over any open air assembly of persons, an altitude of 1,000 feet above the highest obstacle within a horizontal radius of 2,000 feet of the aircraft. (c) Over other than congested areas. An altitude of 500 feet above the surface, except over open water or sparsely populated areas. In those cases, the aircraft may not be operated closer than 500 feet to any person, vessel, vehicle, or structure. (d) Helicopters, powered parachutes, and weight-shift-control aircraft. If the operation is conducted without hazard to persons or property on the surface- (1) A helicopter may be operated at less than the minimums prescribed in paragraph (b) or (c) of this section, provided each person operating the helicopter complies with any routes or altitudes specifically prescribed for helicopters by the FAA; and (2) A powered parachute or weight-shift-control aircraft may be operated at less than the minimums prescribed in paragraph (c) of this section.
@more-left-pedal Thanks for the Quick response. Have another is the helicopter that quiet in flight or the cameras don't pick up the sound and vibrations. Also new subscriber.
I do not discount the ability of this aircraft to perform its mission but, I greatly dislike the overall appearances of the 429 and 505. It's like they just took the work of the designers of the 206/407, and said to themselves, "Lets make this, but stupid looking."
@more-left-pedal can I ask: if the rear clam luggage doors a add on option?or a factory only addition? I think people fear the ideal of loosing some amount of structural integrity.but I'd really think the ease of access of such a usable space fantastic.😁🫡
Gorgeous sunset flight. Thank you for sharing this.

@@avocadoflight yes.👍🏼
Was that a hydrologic mine site you flew over earlier in the flight
@@guyweisbeck3258 not that I know of
I used to live in Downieville CA. Gold mining for a living .I recognized some the areas you over flew.
Where this beautiful heliport? What is the code?
Is there a FAA rule that says you have to fly a certain height above the mountains?
