Here's the second part of my slime shop advent calendar! I find the creativity from the slime community so inspiring. Each shop has a unique way of approaching slime. Some are very playful and offer handcrafted clay pieces to enhance the experience. Others focus solely on the texture and offer minimalist style slimes that can be enjoyed many times over. Others use slime as an aesthetic backdrop to illustrations or graphics. After making this video I have to say that buying slimes can easily become an addictive hobby! I can't stop checking out restocks and really thinking of making more clips just for Instagram or TikTok!
♥ Slime Textures ♥
Here's a guide (from shortest to longest) on how long a slime will stay good. This often depends on the water content, "thinner" slimes tend to deactivate quicker and turn sticky. The thicker and drier a slime is, the less likely it is to go bad. I find most cloud/jelly/butter slimes stay good for months, whereas glossy slimes will start turning sticky after a few weeks.

Yep, the trick is to check out ASAP as the shop system doesn't reserve items in carts. I learned this the hard way as I lost my order on so many restocks 🙈

4:45 Maquaroon, the reason why it’s unscented is to preserve the clarity of the slime. Scented oils make clear slimes cloudy.

I agree, I don’t think she’s very experienced in slime. I was cringing a bit through out this video, just because she was making incorrect assumptions about textures and such. That’s fine though, I still loved the video. Yuki slimes slimes were incredibly cute and executed extremely well, I was very surprised the concepts were so deep and the manga panels were 🤩✨!

I mainly just watch Maqaroon because of the fact Koalas are underrated... My nickname is actually Koala on games because I love Koalas so much.
