Who in New York would give up that apartment. The one her love had updated just for her with the huge closet. It's like an alternate universe from the original show
It’s not thar apartment. It’s the one she had when she was single. But yes, she immediately dumped the beautiful apartment Big remodeled for her after buying the place next door to make a posh closet for her. That was unbelievable.
Nothing about these characters even remotely resembles the original characters in the slightest. The names are the same. Absoutely everything else is made up by a crappy GenZ AI with a quintuple dose of silly LGTB talking points crammed in.
Well, Big was rich himself. He had an apartment in Paris, a wine garden in Napa (which he sold in season 6 finale) and the 33rd floor of a big building. She even donated like 100K to Enid Frick. So i assume a ballpark of 20 million.
I felt the show have putting too much luxury clothes on the character, like Charlotte here, what with the giant shoulder flower dress? is not really something ppl would wear daily.
Luxury isn’t the point. Designer is the point. Fashion for the sake of fashion. Those shoulders are a sculpture meant for the runway or photography studio; not for a real person living life.
After the almost sacred atmosphere the shoemakers created around Carrie and Big’s love, after all the years they had been making their way to each other, end up with Aidan? So what, had he just been waiting for her like a cab? This is so unrealistic!
Carrie sell it not only for Aiden, is for herself, she don't want to stuck in the moaning cycle of Mt.Big death. also, she no longer the struggling writer anymore, she can afford a better house now.
This sucks I remember when i almsot lose my apartment, well was technically my grandma's but my mom i ended up living there for the major part of my living (like 20 years), but whrn my grandma passed away we almost had yo move but kept fighting and we bought the apartment for ourself. You should NEVER give up the perfect aparment, mine is perfect around 176 sqm/ 1880 sqf, it's huge for today's tiny stand, has the perfect layout with 3 bed rooms, two baths, huge closed kitched, living dinning and a small inbetween space for the tv livingroom ,on a old small buidilng with few neighbours, a beatiful view of nature, fill with natural light, even inside my building have some unique features the other apartments doesn't have, a hige terrace that was closed for turn it into another room. Carrie is so dumb for sell that studio
you are comparing your struggle to keep your apartment to a women who rich enough to comfortably buy another nice house as she like. its not the same. Carrie may used to be like your situation but she really move far away from that situation now (thanks to Mr.Big wealth).

@@genxx2724 she paid the price alright, Carrie have to buy back the apartment after the marriage broke off with escalated prices added.
@@genxx2724The penthouse apartment was sold in the first movie so she and Big bought a different apartment in the same building.
So she will be moving to a new place? But at the end, she will have to wait for 5 years until Aidan's kids are all 18????
😂😂😂
I'll be dam if I'll be waiting for any one or they're children to turn 18 just in order to start our new lives together, they ain't worth it at all.
The old Charlotte wouldn't wear loud clown sleeves like that.

How much freakin money did the
" mistake" called Big leave her ????

She also published 6 best-selling books at this point, so it’s safe to say she’s a millionaire even before Big’s contribution.

I agree. The clothes are way too much; too over the top.
Luxury isn’t the point. Designer is the point. Fashion for the sake of fashion. Those shoulders are a sculpture meant for the runway or photography studio; not for a real person living life.
Yes. It’s distracting and looks silly
It's sex and the city. They wear ridiculous costumes all the time and call it "fashion". I'll never get it.
absolutely not realistic
the clothes! ugh

Those outfits just seem.....wrong. totally wrong.
Poor apartment has separation anxiety. 😂
Screw Aden, if he can't walk into the apartment then that's his problem at alll and not both the apartment or Carrie problem.
You must not know the history.
He never denies its his problem. The question is does she want to solve it or not for someone she cares about.
