I'm Marathi.we have our own way of culture, thinking,food and understanding and take on issues even kandigas,telgus,tamilians, Assamese have their own way of thinking and culture But we share the same common values, constitution,flag.you cannot put us in to same logical calculations which you put on to other societies...India is diversefied in so many ways you must come to India and need a ton of research to understand us.

@@samip3124 well Marathi has is a Indo European language having common roots sharing with indo European languages like Hindi, urdu, English, Spanish, old persian, punjabi etc. Even marathi shares few sanskrit words with South Indian languages words like desa(country), manasa(mind), Namaste(bowing down to the divine soul in hindu faith), samudra(sea) etc and many more though south Indian languages come under Dravidian language family becoz of the sanskrit influence in india before the mughal islamic rule in india

Totally agree with Alok ji. In India when we meet new people,the first thing we ask is you are from which place? Gao kaha hai aapka? Its always region and language but never religion or caste( atleast in my experience). Many of us have multiple identities esp those who are living in cities or parents working in transferable jobs(central government offices, railways, nationalised banks, defence ) or PSU. We can ethnically belong to one state, born in another, working in third. Many Indians because of this are multilingual. At any point of time , mostly middle school, students across India learn 3 languages as 1st, 2nd or 3rd language. Asking each other about their culture, food, clothing, rituals and practises is the most common topics of discussion. To someone outside it may appear very strange, alien and they might think how differentl we are, which we actually are!!! Yes!!! But what a outsider won’t understand is the upbringing and conditioning of Indians to accept India’s diversity. It is little about our seeking of common culture but more about our acceptance & absorption of all others cultures around us which makes India what it is today. Every Pakistani is stressing on common culture, DNA with India. U say u are more comfortable with Punjabis than Sindhis. Why? I think it is the mental block in your society where you believe in a single rigid identity. I have observed this problem in Indian villages or small towns too where a single community is dominant. Seeking & talking about common DNA, religion, culture is not validation for ‘we are one people’ syndrome rather your identity crisis and insecurity. Rather than trying to seek/prove common ground with India, Pakistanis should accept our differences like Indians do with each other and we can still peacefully exist together. 😊This essay is not 👆aimed at you but my general observation about Pakistani TH-camrs.

If Islamiyat is removed from pakistan, then Pakistani provinces can be just like any other states in India. Balochistan and Sindh would be states . I kind of wish Sindh was in India. Would have loved to visit the Indus Valley sites of Mohenjo Daro. I am pretty sure Pakistani people are not researching on these structures.

He was roaming in Peshawar And I couldn't find one single woman on the street / road. All of them men. Matlab khud toh khule saand ke jaisa ghoomo aur mahilaon / females ko andhar bandh karke rakho. This is not out culture.
That is because of islam but overall we have more similarities than differences, that is why it won't be wrong to say we have same culture.

Harris Bhai, though Indians have many cultural and language differences among themselves than any other country in the world, they are all one by their heart & soul and it is called unity in diversity. It’s a miracle on this earth which no other country can boast of. ISRO is one such example where scientists from all over India (including women scientists) work as one team though stationed at different ISRO space research institutions/ stations across India and that is the reason ISRO and India are very successful due to our harmonious social fabric.
Since India is vast, the cultures of different provinces are different but the main and foremost culture of all Indians is patriotism.

We North Indians specially hindi belt and punjab region feel more culturally and linguistically simular to Pakistanis than south Indians. Alok Ranjan should know that Bharat, which is an ancient/original name of India, it was a one land/nation with having Bharatiye culture. Bharat, it includes modern day India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh and some parts of Afghanistan(i.e. from Kabul and Kandahar upto Bamyan province of Afghanistan). And it was a one whole land/country/nation. And influence of Bharat beyond this geography was known as Akhand Bharat (Union of Bharat).

I am following Harish ' s channel for a long time. I found him a genius n open mind person. I could know something of Islam(I was totally ignorant,though I have a good number of Muslim friends) through his discussion. To me, Hindus may have some vices but we r not at all radical. We have difference with Muslim s on food habit and orthodox approach towards life. They find n mingle religion everywhere n in every thing. Thanks Mr. Harris .Go on n do good for humanity.

We have also parsi and Judaism living in India since ages and no 1 has tried to convert them. If Hindus are radical why muslims population is increasing? For an outsider all the subcontinent people are one and there may be difference between our culture and appearance but there are also similarities within our cultures which comes from the same origin.......i am from south part of india.😁

The main difference in “hum kahan vo kahan” - when Indians say it it’s usually based on our karma or achievements when Pakistanis or some Muslims even from Indian side say it it’s out of a false sense of religion based hatred filled bigoted narrative borderline hate crime…. BIG difference

Not so much difference as you say.All the cultural and religious rituals from Birth to Death is almost same but performed in different language so seems to be very different.But actually it is not.
