I am so happy for you. The test results were amazing for the amount of bubbles that were there. Thank you for doing it this way to show us the true difference between the two. You are great at what you do, my friend!

Amazing, we got pressure pots at the same time. I use it only for dragon eggs, those tend to get bubbles. It worked great and only 35 psi.

Hi Steve. You and your viewers might be interested in searching ‘pressure pot time lapse’ and clicking on Ben’s Worx as he shows with a camera inside the pressure pot how the bubbles dissipate from the bottom up 🦆💕

I learned about resin casting from a Dice making channel, and he used a pressure pot. I resisted for the first month or two, but everything i made, regardless of how careful i was or how i used a torch or heat gun, had at least 2-3 bubbles on an edge or top that ruined the coaster or whatnot. I made a DIY pressure pot from a video online, and used it and the pieces were PERFECT. I've used it a number and it absolultely make a better piece. I did 3D Print a platform that fits nicely inside (just a 9.25 inch diameter circle that is about 7mm thick and printed fairly solid at 60% infill) and then poles or risers. I glued them down and now can have up to 3 tiers inside the pot, able to pressure cure multiple items at once. cheers to you!

Wow what a humongous difference! Just goes to show that people who are big time into really larger molds probably should save up for a pressure pot. Idk if you view them but if you get a chance to, watch Ben Worx (has a camera inside the pot.. aka ‘pot cam’) or Jake Thompson. They have tons to offer for noobs pressure pot helpful fun/experience.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful art videos! Lovely as always 👌🕺🙌

I've seen so many artists that use pressure pots with their resin projects, and not a one (that I've seen) has shown the difference in this way. Thanks so much, Steve! I'm definitely curious as to how good pressure pots are at getting rid of bubbles in awkward places (like corners in letters). 💙

I'm so glad you got yourself one. That first run is the best "this is how it works" tutorial I have seen, quick and straight to the point. I love that you showed us exactly how it gives you crystal clear by adding so many bubbles it looked like my children shook up their bubbles to make foam. Sincerly, thank you for that🥰!

I love my pressure pot, but there are still things to watch out for like bubbles in places like the rim of trinket box lids and bubbles on the edges of the molds or indentations. Other than that, it is such a resin saver since I rarely have any bubbles.

@Steve McDonalds arts and crafts I have 2 questions #1 what's the difference between a pressure pot and a vacuum chamber? #2 did your pressure pot come with the compressor included or was it separate? Thank you in advance and thank you for all ur videos

I would like to see what the differences would be if you took reasonable precautions to have no bubbles without the pressure pot vs the outcome using the pressure pot. I’m wondering how dramatic the difference would be if you did things like warming the resin before hand and stirring slowly etc. that we normally do to prevent excess bubbles.
    Take care and stay safe!

I use mine for a whatever molds will fit. I bought a shelf unit made to fit in the size pot. The shelves come out so I can set it up for tall or shallow molds. It saves me so much resin since I don't have near as many bubbles.

I would try to pop as many bubbles that rise to the top as you usually do with the lighter and micro brushes and then pressurize to get the micro bubbles out. Just a wild guess. I understand you really whipped bubbles in there more than you usually would for the experiment. Lol!
