Linda, I just love you!! 🩷 You are such an inspiration in every way. I have been watching you for years now and have learned so much. It is great how your “show” has evolved not only in content, but also in quality. You and your team are a true blessing to my week!! 🌷🌷
You have inspired me to start making topiaries! Thank you Linda! And I love the fun y'all have! I makes me laugh!
That basket arrangement is gorgeous! Like the cover of a magazine.
I love your topiary 101. Thank you Linda !!!🌳
Linda> I like how your tulips move up and down in back of your brick wall. Your basket with grape hyacinth's is a beautiful arrangement along w/ wooden eggs & carrot made with twine? Your idea of weeping willow whips was a fun idea to bring to my attention and as we use our imagination can find several uses. Yes, the front of your home is so colorful and lively and speaks to me saying welcome Spring & come in to our home guests! Thank you for your inspiring video! Enjoy!
Excellent video Linda! Love the basket of grape hyacinths and the natural elements. Just lovely.
Thank you too for the topiary lesson.
Sending blessings from Raleigh! 💐💐💐
Really enjoy these mixed videos. Very fun
I ❤ Stewart's laugh. Leave him alone LOL
He is just as bad.🎉🎉 In a good way.
Could watch you clip topiary for hours!
You are so creative! Thank you for the tutorial on styling thrift store finds and the topiary. Loved every segment of this video!
Beautiful centre piece. Love purple little flowers
My uncle lived in the hill country in Texas and said the blue bonnets are beginning to pop out. I love them!
Love, love how you thought to use the basket as a “nest” with the shreds, eggs and flowers! Gorgeous! Everything you say and do is so interesting!❤️😊
Hi Linda!! You made my weekend…Your so creative and elegant 😊…I worked in the garden beds all day today (daffodils are barely sprouting), cutting back grasses, sedum flower heads, fertilizing roses and pruning them, redoing the drip and adding more mulch…I want to prepare the garden beds for the new owners of my home here in New Mexico…Im moving to Colorado and I will be missing so many things about my current home..Mainly because I worked hard to add “dream plants I couldn’t have in Texas” (i knew i loved Stewart for a special reason🤠) Now I must leave them behind…Knowing I will have a larger property to create new flower beds eases my garden heart…Thank you for being a beautiful kind gardener inspiration to us all💚!!
Fun episode and really informative in doing the topiary. Loved it! Don’t let them boss you!!
I look at your garden and think of nature’s symphony unfolding before our eyes! The garden looks beautiful Linda.
Howdy from deep in the heart of Texas. The bluebonnets are making their annual appearance in the Lone Star State. They are such a welcome harbinger of spring that never fail to cheer young and old! We viewers thank you and your team for sharing your talents, Linda. You are a delightful inspiration in so many ways.
I had to laugh out loud when Stewart shouted YES! 😂
Do you think your next door neighbor would be interested in giving us a home tour? I think that house is so beautiful!
Beautiful landscape and floral arrangements. I live in the beautiful Hill Country in Boerne TX. The bluebonnets have started, as well as other wild flowers. Lady Bird Johnson was responsible for the wildflower plantings along the highways that are beginning to bloom. The ice storm was hard on it last year. We are hoping it’s breath taking again this year!
Linda, I love pink and orange together. I live in Florida. Combos of pink, orange and even red are often put together and have a great tropical vibe. Maybe not quite the same appeal in Oklahoma. Your garden is truly coming alive-beautiful. I always look forward to and love your wonderful videos. Thx for all you do and share. ☘️
Great collection of projects and garden viewing. The tulips are gorgeous! I loved the topiary tutorial, that makes it look doable, and so pretty.
The bluebonnets are blooming! Hello from Canyon Lake, Texas.
Been spring cleaning. Linda, you’ve inspired me to put spring flowers in the baskets that I have!
Hello to those Rockford IL gals from another garden fan from Dixon, IL. Wow, Linda, those plants and trees are greening up down there. Every year Spring is such a lovely surprise gift!
Linda love 💗 it when spring comes and you are out in your garden 🪴 it is so much fun and your garden is amazing, so beautiful!!!!!
Linda, the garden is beautiful! I knew it would be! Thank you for sharing.
I moved from Houston 6 months ago, so now I'm a "transplant" LOL! Actually, I found your channel in my desperate search for information on Oklahoma gardening. Houston's climate is on the tropical side, so it's a huge learning curve. Your experience and willingness to share it has been a huge relief as I slowly piece together my gardens here. Thank you! We love living here in OKC.
Thank you for the walk about! If I were a walker near you, I’d always make sure to pass by your garden.
Hi, I'm in New Braunfels and yes, the bluebonnets are in full bloom here. They're absolutely stunning.
Linda, you have ignited a spark in me for topiaries that I did not even know it existed. I cannot wait to see you in Indianapolis At the home and garden show.I have both of my garden journals that i'm bringing with me in hopes that you will sign them. I bought 2, so in 5 years when one is full. I will already have the other one. I live in Knightstown, Indiana, which is about an hour away, close to the Ohio border. I love your channel, your shows. and your products. Thank you so much for everything that you share.❤❤
Beautiful shot at 13:45 with the light showing through the tulips in pots
Hi Linda and Stewart! Fredericksburg Texas chiming in here, I have a 5 acre pasture that’s full of Bluebonnets and they will be in full bloom in about a week. If we’re blessed with a little rain sometime in the next week, it will be a wonderful bonus for these little beauties. It’s definitely a glorious time here on our farm.💙
The front yard looks beautiful.
One of your best videos..
Loved it...calling your garden, right now...a kindergarten garden..is so precious and right!
No matter..the garden is fabulous..
Excited to go to Lowes..
Try my hand at making topiarys..
Just went to my nursery, bought two topiarys..60.00
Ehhh.❤
Oh Linda, the tulips look beautiful and I love seeing that part of the yard… the side area …you’ve done such a magnificent job …I’m on a long walk and this is my favorite thing to do …watch you on my long walks. I do look up for cars..don’t worry! Keep up the great work… hello Stewart!!
I adore seeing everything waking up! So beautiful! 🥰
Yeahh , For spring !! Loved your demo for the topiary!!
Another awesome video! Thank you. If it's not to much trouble would you be able to share these topiaries every once in a while to show how they grow? Maybe once a month have Topiary Tuesday? :)
Thank you will try boxwood 2 ball topiary. Great idea
Your garden looks beautiful. I’m wondering if you ever use alyssum? I think it could be a pretty ground cover. I love watching the progress of your new garden in real time. It is Always so inspiring to see what can be done in a short time.
For spilling out of those big pots you will plant later…I just ordered Ornamental Oregano seeds. Pink, white and green foliage. Looks good to me!
Awesome rain boots!
Wow your garden is already looking so pretty, I was reading the comments and saw lots of posts from various cities in Texas lots of Texas viewers
Going to hit Lowes this week for a Green Mtn boxwood & shape up my first topiary. Should be fun! Thanks Linda!❤
Your front garden is waking up and has great curb appeal already. Lovely grape Hyacinth arrangements, so happy making. How's about doing topiary Thistles, they would look good in the pots on your side steps. Good mid size topiary ball at the bottom and let the centre shoots at the top grow like a thistle 😁 just a thought.
As always very inspiring! Love your honesty that even for you a house-owner in a well-to-do-area one has to count with the dollar and has to postpone some nice ideas.❤
A very beautiful colour combination with these very red Tulips are Forgetmenots with their beautifully muted lightblue with a hint of lilac. It softens the red a bit. Plus the different foliages of tulips and forgetmenots do play together very well. Maybe have a try?
Enjoy the spring! Looking forward to next week
I’m loving the color & signs of Spring that y’all are getting already! Here in the Denver metro area we’re a good 6 weeks out…patiently waiting for Spring to arrive.😊
Linda. Just really love topiaries. Your topiaries are so beautiful. So nice. Your yard is looking very nice getting spring like already. So nice. Your tulips are looking are looking very pretty. Thanks so much.
We’re expanding our patio this spring to add a dining area. I’m looking forward to creating some topiary pots for the centerpiece ‘a la Linda!’
I love the table arrangements. So pretty. Also, thank you for the boxwood tutorial. I'd love to try one. 😊
"One must suffer for one's topiary" 😂❤
Texas gal here. Yes mam, bluebonnets are blooming!
It’s all starting to look beautiful!
Visitors Karen & Kari (sp?), I am your neighbor in Belvidere, IL! So jealous you got to see the cottage and meet beautiful Linda! 😊
I’m in LaGrange IL. I was excited to hear Illinois was represented. 😊. I have been watching Linda a couple years and I love all of the changes, very inspirational for me
@@karenmartin2658, We should start a Northern Illinois "Vater gardening" group and meet for coffee. Wouldn't that be fun?
Linda, I love your show AND your book, I and have learned SO MUCH! I’m from the TX Hill Country (San Antonio) and recently moved to Lubbock, TX. While I’m REALLY missing my bluebonnets this year, I’m benefiting even more from your tips now that I’m trying to garden closer to your zone. Love everything about your show! Thank you!
Linda, I just love the basket cake look for Spring! Just a
wonderful idea!!❤😊
I will share this show. I love the baskets. I have those flowers! I planted them last year and they came back again!
Yes! The bluebonnets are erupting and look amazing!! It’s going to be a very good year for driving through the hill country admiring the wild flowers.
Just love everything you do Linda! I get so excited when I see you have a new video. Can’t wait until the boxwoods are at the box store so i can try to turn it into a topiary.😃
Yes!! I’m from Rockport Tx and the bluebonnets and other wildflowers are beautiful right now💙
I’m not sure how the patent works on these hedges, but when I snip back the longer stems, I strip leaves off the bottom and just stick it in a pot of dirt. I just stick them and I do the same with my rosemary and lavender. By the end of the season I separated them out of the pot into small individual pots. I tie a little ribbon on them use them as place settings or hostess gifts during the winter.
I once had a neighbor call the police because I was propagating plants!! She saw a young guy growing plants and thought surely it was for nefarious reasons. 😂 Did not make it better when years later I grew a Texas star hibiscus, which looks similar to cannabis.. cut to the police uprooting my stand to have it tested. 😂
Surprisingly, nothing was ever said about my opium poppies. 🤷♂️
You always have a beautiful garden, but the most of the time a find i a little bit to green, nice to see so many flowers/colors. Nice to see you keep wearing your wellies.
I love how the thrifted basket turned out. YES I can see the boxwood taking shape. 😃 Fun and informative video. Thank you Linda, Stewart and Lea whom we did not get to see.
Yes the bluebonnets are blooming and I'm from Tomball Texas. A lot of my bulbs didn't bloom either so will definitely go and buy some already blooming. Love the arrangements. I will try doing a topiary. Think that will be fun. 🪻🌷💐
A fellow Tomball person, I live in Tomball also
Bluebonnets are just beginning here in the hills of Kendalia, Texas.
The bluebonnets in my garden in Houston are in full bloom. Glorious! I have them sprinkled throughout the crushed granite walkway in the backyard and they come back every year.
Blue bonnets starting to bloom around Houston!
Love your channel!
I live in San Antonio and also have a home outside of Utopia Texas, the bluebonnets are in full bloom and we are expecting a great, long lasting wildflower season since we got so much rain late this winter Wonderful video on topiary, I am inspired to fill some planters with topiary instead of flowers!!
Linda. Love your spring garden! I’m ready to roll in this my favorite time of the year. Would you have pot sources you could share. Struggling to even find clay pots ☺️
I’m in Waco (Central Texas) and the blue bonnets are bursting!!
I love all the indoor projects you did today. I am going to make a spring arrangement for my home pronto! Also, I appreciate hearing someone else say that they are putting off a project because of cost. (The railing you want for the side steps of your house.) It made me feel better about the projects I'm wanting to do but need to save up for.
The colors are all beautiful! Great job.
I so enjoy the various projects you show during your videos ❤❤.. saw another video and she used a lazy Susan to keep turning her topiary as she worked on it..YAY Spring is on the horizon 😊😊
You are so creative and talented Linda!
Great topiary tutorial! I’m excited to start when we get them in Illinois. Tulips are gorgeous and I loved the grape hyacinth pots too!
Thank you Linda, can we follow the progression of your topiary's? I would love to see how they grow. I enjoy your video's very much.
It is now beginning to show its beauty.
Topiary Queen!
Love how everything is looking!
Hey Stewart and Linda, such informative videos. Thank you
Yes, I am in the heart of Texas…loving our bluebonnet season!
The bluebonnet are indeed blooming!
Love this episode. Your hyacinth basket is so sweet. I’m located in the hill country just outside of Austin. The bluebonnets have just started to bloom. Your tulips look lovely at the cottage. 😊😊😊
YES I can see the ball!😏 I am definitely putting this on my list.🌷
Yes they are blooming big in Ennis Tx!!❤
Hi Linda, I really love your side garden from the sidewalk. Its a nice gift to pedestrians. What are those lovely white multistem trees in the front yard going along the side street? They really set an elegant tone and rhythm. I like how they are limbed up and their form is a nice contrast to some of the other shapes in the garden. Keep having fun in the garden.
I would put Easter chocolates in the third bowl😊
So pretty… I will look for some of the spring flowers. 💐 Thanks ☺️
What a lovely spring show. Still cold here in Indiana so no blooms here yet. Daffodils are trying. 🎉
Loved all your ideals! 🤗
A beautiful explosion of color. Your neighbors are so lucky.
My crepes are leafing here a little north of Dallas, elm as well. Ajuga is blooming and spreading long shoots. Tulip shrub is covered in leaves, no blooms so far. Everything is early and so healthy compared to the last two years. I haven’t checked the bluebonnets here in Frisco, but I bet they will also be early.
Thanks for the lovely project ideas.
Wow! You have things blooming in your garden already? We just started to not have, below 0 degrees Celsius overnight, over here in the Fraser Valley, B.C. Canada (near Vancouver, B.C.)...nothing is blooming out in my garden at all... gloomy, cold and rainy days... Daylight Savings started today...so will be getting lighter - later...which will help! What a treat for your neighbors, to walk by that sidewalk, along your lovely tulips!
The bluebonnets are here in the southeast/ Conroe/ Woodlands area of Texas. Love their show every year. These arrangements are fabulous.
Your tulips are beautiful! I wish I could grow them in my gardens, but I can not because I have many deer who make a feast out of them. I also have the same problem with my hostas, which I really love, but get eaten by the deer, even after I have sprayed them with natural deer repellent. I have alot of hyacinths and daffodils in my gardens, and the deer leave them alone. I am considering attempting to make a topiary this coming spring, so this video came in handy in teaching me. I hope you feel better soon, and are on the quick road to recovery.
Loved this video, I can’t wait to try the boxwood to two ball topiary ❤😊
I use my fiestaware pieces to change out color around my plants.(ex. Red/green Christmas, yellow/blue spring,red/blue summer)
Beautiful well decorated table! I love it.
Absolutely beautiful
I have my Bluebonnets blooming right now, in South East Texas
