I've noticed that I like the WEIRD ones, and Summer BB definitely fits the bill. Playing to the meta is boring, I'd rather have fun!

This has tempted me to roll for summer BB, but I don't have Merlin so I'm saving up for him for the upcoming event.
Should be said that, while she locks the cards, you still need the "right" combinations of cards that you want to lock on in the first place (and i'm not fond of "resetting" to get that). And the skill ends if one of the party members dies.
Gotta know the pros and cons
The new JP CQs often need a soft reset from turn 1 anyway. You need to have face cards in play now because of gimmicks.
on her last banner on jp christmas i got tempted and used some of my koyankaya quartz , was alternating 3 multis between britomart and bb and on the 2nd pull i got np2 bb in one multi . next day caster skadi goes on rate up... i regret my decision
Just rolled her in 12 tickets. Aoko's release in two years made me want to run a Summer BB + Gogh + Koyan support core for Aoko. 3T Buster AoE crits for CQ funsies is now within my reach! Advanced Quests should also be a fun place to try this out, for sure.
Summer BB is just fun and definitely unique. Sure, I don’t use that third skill and BB all the time, but it makes a difference.
Doesn’t hurt that I have her at NP2 since she does ok damage at that point.
I definitely would be considering her since I have Merlin, Oberon, and Koyan light but cat boy comes out next month sooooooooo……
Summer BB opens up new aspects of the game and looks good doing it.

But my capture list is Arcueid, Summer Skadi, Summer Ibuki and Lady avalon. I need all the SQ I can gather for that

@@fatbeaverlol I am currently at 1347 here if I include the value of the tickets. I have been betrayed by the gatcha before, so I will not really feel safe without the SQ corresponding to 4 pity rolls
really wanted her but need a whole lot of other stuff including meta senvants so went in with the idea a single multi just to test my luck and for once i actually lucked out,pretty happy about it since she is a servant that i have wanted since her release but didn't get her back then,no pitty and all that
I got NP3 Summer BB on release (EX Luck, 300SQ) and she's been one of my most used servants since.
Her skills are incredible, Self Modification makes her hit like she has class advantage.
And card locking with it is too good.
I just pray they reduce her Battery Cooldown from 7 to 6 so I can Buster Loop with her.

I didnt even plan for her and i got her using the free 30 sq given to me.
I got her with 120 quartz (used a few tickets n that amount).
I have 175 saint quartz left and like 127 servants to get SQ for anniversary (381), let’s hope I have enough for Arceuid.
Honestly, I find myself wondering if I should try for NP 2 Summer BB while her banner is still around. I’m post-Tunguska and I’ve got about 390 SQ, but I also want to try for Arcueid later during the anniversary (or Miyu if there’s another Prisma Kaleid crossover banner since I want a themed support list). I love Summer BB for everything she is and really want her as strong as possible but I don’t have the materials to push her to 10/10/10 just yet. Not sure I can justify going past the pity…
You don't even need to turn 1 reset. Just card count and wait up to turn 3 for the cards you want.
Depending on the challenge, waiting an extra turn or 2 before setting up is usually not an issue.

I have her already but at NP1. I'd roll for NP2 at least, but I'm saving for Merlin and Arjuna Alter. I'm hoping NP1 of her might be enough for now. 😅

straight up the most fun character in the game for doing actual fun content like CQ and what not, loopers are boring anyway
