Wow! a great job on your first ultra. I'm running the JFK50 again this year, after missing my goal time in 2019. I'm just aiming for a sub-10 hour, so my goals are not quite as lofty as yours! 🤣
Good job, Scott! You made something that's super intimidating a little less so by showing all the highs and lows. It was awesome to hear you wanted to do it again!
Hey! Thank you so much for watching and the kind words! More vids soon I promise! Working on a van build out so I can all around this beautiful continent!
That was Harper's Ferry! The canal there is on the right, btw. Awesome run! You motivate me to get back out and hit the asphalt. I've been out of commission since I tore my hamstring last summer. I just timed my first practice 5k this week, and I have a long way to go.
Ugh hamstring tears are the worst. Coach Nickley got one of those doing wind sprints with the stingrays once! Glad to hear you’re getting back out though! Thanks for watching dude!
Congratulations, Scott! It was amazing to see you in action. I am contemplating a 50 miler and believe I have it in me, but I am nervous for obvious reasons. Thank you for sharing your experience!
Thanks for taking us along and crushing your goal. Very inspirational. This is why we run. Listened to a podcast with Hayden Hawks after his course record, and your video nicely provides context. The AT is challenging, I'm training and learning technical trail running on the AT in CT. Just subscribed to follow your journey and support your channel. All the best for the holidays and 2021!
That was super fast man! What are your half marathon and marathon times? Just curious. I'm working on training to do a marathon then an ultra. Well done!
"I feel like I walked in on an ambush I set for myself". That's might be the best run related quote ever.

Such a great race! Went back last year. I really wish I was going back again this year, but no room in the schedule sadly. Good luck!
Thanks!

Thanks for watching Mariana! Really appreciate the positive feedback! I highly recommend this one
Watching this right now after I just registered for this year's race. It will be my first 50 miler!
Great run Scott and a wonderful video!! So glad to have found your channel!!

Thanks Julia! In the words of Rob Schneider in waterboy: You can do it!
Damn man that was sweet. Gratz on beating your goal! Keep up the good content.
Thanks dude!

Thanks for the sub! Hayden crushed it that day. Wish I could've seen him, but I think he'd left by the time I was done :-D
Wow! Incredible!
Thanks!
Terrific job both on the run and the video. I'd like to sign up when registration opens in March.
Definitely highly recommended!
I was there 2020. Nice job. My first Ultra also. I got stuck waiting for a train at an aid station and lost 10 minutes.
Really good year for it! That's awful about the train though.
Loved it , congratulations, my goal to run this next year
Thanks for watching Penny! You'll crush it! Check out my videos training for it if you liked this one!
